Thanks to the folks earlier in the thread who suggested it:
I have an EVGA GeForce GTX 660 FTW Signature (Win7 64bit). Clocking it back (using the EVGA PrecisionX app) to 980Mhz fixed my intermittent freezes.
Every few minutes, it would go to a black screen, the sound would keep playing but no inputs would register and I'd have to kill the FC3 process in the task manager.
Once, I started the game, immediately opened the weapon locker and browsed for a couple of minutes before it crashed.

    Repeating crashes to desktop

While in Coop multiplayer, I'm experiencing repeating crashes to desktop +/- every 5-10 minutes. My Coop friends with ****ty +5 year computers are not experiencing any errors.

I've already reinstalled on C drive
    Reinstalled Uplay
    Clean install Nvidia Drivers
Tried DX9 version, played on low settings,
    Disabled Steam overlay,
    Disabled afterburner,
    Disabled MultithreadedRendering
    Tested RAM (16GB)

Strange thing is, I didn't have any problems 2 months ago, but now it's unplayable.

    Specs:

    I5 4570, GTX 780, 16 GB, Windows 10

Far Cry 3 crash every 15 minutes because XAudio2_7.dll_unloaded compatibility issues

I already try all the solution in here :
    http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...ped-Responding
Got the same problem in here:
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...a-dd630fe79f0f
Already searching for this problem in another game like Assassin's Creed Unity
Which is already found the solution remove/rename the XAudio2_7.dll from SysWOW64
But in Far Cry 3 if we remove/rename the XAudio2_7.dll from SysWOW64 the sound disappear in game but not in Assassin's Creed Unity
I strongly guess its the compatibility issues on windows 10 because after I update from windows 8 that's when the problem starts coming

Reasons like this are why I stayed with 7. The jump from Vista to 7 to 8 wasn't that big as both used nearly the same Kernel. 10 is a different story though. Maybe go back to the older OS and wait until all the bugs are flushed out?

I think that's the only way now. I'm going to install windows 8.1 in my USB drive only to play Far Cry 3 without crash.
But I still highly hope that someone can fix the problem. Either it's from ubisoft or from microsoft.

Far Cry3 Has Stopped Responding. - (on my pc)

    hello all!
    i have win 7 64b i3 3.30 8gb ram
    amd radeon hd6670 2gb ram
i have install the game and it automatic install uplay. ok so far..
i 've start played 2-3 times and i have noticed that always (at the beggining) after i've reached the 1st tower , (i get out of limits)-(mission failed) , or
even earlier if the enemy sees me, (and kills me of course),
    the game freeze.
i uninstall it , reinstall it and that problem still s...
also the indicator that the game is saving always flashes over the right corner of the screen.
so far i've managed to play until that point. (beginning-1st tower and slain the 2 roars next)
next thing i did is close it and u play, re open it and i see that the game does not has any save at all.
starts all over again from the beggining (video- escape from the vaas camp).

anyone could help? or have the same problem? suggestions? solutions? something?
    thank you!

p.s and sorry for my english!

    Was working fine then...

Installed yesterday from disks on my Win 7-64, i7, DDR3 8 gig, Nvidia 680gtx.
Installed Uplay, made acc. Had no issues, played for 4hrs 40 minutes.

Today I got the 1.05 update and one of the save file seems corrupted:
it starts into a whole white screen with audio but nothing else.

I found an earlier save file, it starts but I can't play for more than a few secs before it hangs again W T F !!

I tried verifying files it failed.
The Uplay application cant even find FC3 game folder if I point to it.

    I'm baffled... it worked yesterday!

Edit: Started new game: same all white screen with sounds playing in background.

Wow, i owe ubisoft an apology, far cry or uplay wasn't the issue at all. It was AMD's 15.11 drivers. Rolled back to 15.10 and it works now.

    Game saves don't work

When I load up the game it gives me an option to click load local save or load cloud saves . When I click cloud it says unable and gives me an option of quitting , trying again or continuing without it . If I continue it crashes and if I click local it will do the same or load up minimize and crash saying it won't respond . I've tried deleting up lay and far cry and loading my back up .... Then launching from folder or even taking the saves out but it won't work . 1tb processer directx10 8gb ram and i use nvidia ... I only have 27hrs in the game and I really want to play again any suggestions ?
