Where is Part II lol
I have done everything and while it was Afterburner causing my issues with the main menu I am still crashing even with no OC's, you can see my problem in detail here:

Thanks for any help anyone can provide, you can post here, but in my thread will be easier to spot.
My latest post in my thread:
Well I am still getting crashes even after doing everything in that post so I decided to do a reinstall of FC3 and now I can't see the main menu again, even with Afterburner turned off along with UAC/AV/PCMeter/etc
I really need to get this figured out as it has ruined this game for me. I wish I had just put up with the crashes instead of losing the main menu options..
Well I got the main menu back, but now I am getting terrible stuttering.
I don't understand why I am having all these problems now after playing for so long with none. Also the main issue in Steam is that 1 file always fails to validate, always. Even after it redownloads it and I verify again, it redownloads it again, etc etc.. I have read this is a DRM file, is there someway to fix this?
I also have still not played this game despite owning it since launch and trying every solution and more listed here. Click play game, splash screen appears then instant CTD after going black screen for a few seconds. Far Cry 3, AC 2, and any other Uplay game I own will not run at all on this computer. I contacted support and they said my issue was unknown but probably due to me using Windows 8 and that they would send it up to developers to look at. I can run other games including GTA 4 which EternalCore mentioned used the RAM the same way FC3 does.

Are you using the steam version? which means did you disable the steam overlay?Originally Posted by Bohica2 Go to original post
Also what is the list of programs you have installed for FPS displays, overclocking tools and recording tools?
And do you have Sapphire Trixx installed? if so close it before launching FC3
P.S. I and many others aren't touching Win8 with a 1,000ft poll!!!
