Far cry 3 now is no longer in my ubisoft games program when it launchers and on top of that i get the error "failed to execute command please make sure this executable file exists.
I have never had so much trouble with a game. I can't even play it nor find it. I'm just requesting a refund this is a complete **** fest.
You shouldn't need to reset the factory oc'd gpu as it's not that big of a difference to make an issue.Originally Posted by Rukrow Go to original post
But if you want to then just underclock it to the same settings as the none factory oc'd one.
Try this -> It Sounds like your game files are corrupt.. To fix that uninstall FC3 And Uplay using this tool: http://support.micro...l_and_uninstallOriginally Posted by Rukrow Go to original post
Then Download & install Ccleaner from here: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner Run the registry fixer in Ccleaner Continually until no more errors/issues show up.
Then Download & install Uplay from here: http://uplay.ubi.com/
And finally install & Patch FC3 and report back.
Hi Eternal Core
FC3 keeps crashing at the same place in the first mission where you are running away from Vaas and his men in the jungle.
It's right after I run past a bear and climb some vines and just before I enter that cave-like thing it crashes.
I can stand there and know, that if I take one more step, then it crashes.
I have already tried all of your previous suggestions, but nothing helps.
I hope you can help me and how do you have time to help all of us with our problems? Are you an angel sent from heaven?![]()

If that doesn't work then it's a game breaking bug and you need to report it here: http://ubisoft.custhelp.com/app/ask
I've tried all the above, and still nothing. Game loads fine, it just crashes. Usually before I can even get out of the cage, but once I actually got into the jungle to run. Kind of annoying to have to watch the opening sequence of the game over and over and over and over and over...
What now? I don't have crash issues with any other game.
*Update*
Well, it occurred to me that I had not messed with some previously picky games such as Batman: Arkham City since upgrading to Nvidia 310.70 drivers. I went back and found crashes in B:AC so I rolled the driver back to the previous one that I knew was stable. 306.97. That seems to have worked out the crash issue. Played for over an hour without a crash. However, the sky doesn't render right among other whacky graphical glitches.
Any help there?
I'm running a i7 2600k, 580GTX and 16 GB ram.

Well further testing on my end has come with these results
I put my CPU at stock settings 3.5GHZ as recommend by so many. But the game crashes at first loading screen so it had turned out to be worse.
Soooo
I increased by Clock from 4.2 up to 4.4GHZ and the game so far is not crashing This is the longest I have been able to play
I also went from "low" settings to "very High" and its playable.
End result this game is broken as fuq, Maybe this will help some.
Increase your clock speed rather then reducing it to default.
