And, I should have been more specific - the 3.5 SP1 file will not execute under any mode (including normal).

Okay, I already had 3.5 installed, so I guess that was the issue there.

Here are my settings in nvidia:
Anisotropic Filtering - Use global setting (Application-controlled)
Antialiasing - FXAA - Use global setting (off)
Antialiasing - Gamma Correction - Off
Antialiasing - Mode - Application Controlled
    Antialiasing - Transparency - Off
CUDS - GPU's - Use global setting (All), not, I only have 1 GPU and am not running SLI
Maximum pre-rendered frames - Use global setting (Use the 3D application setting)
Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration - Single Display performance mode
Power management mode - Use global setting (Adaptive)
Texture Filtering - Anisotropic sample options - Use global setting (Off)
Texture Filtering - Negative LOD bias - Use global setting (Allow)
Texture Filtering - Quality - Use global setting (Quality)
Texture Filtering - Trilinear optimization - Use global setting (Off)
Triple Buffering - Use global setting (Off)
Vertical sync - Use global setting (Use the 3D application setting)

Here are my settings in nvidia:
Change this "Power management mode - Use global setting (Adaptive)" To this: "Power management mode - Prefer Maximum Performance". Then try the game.

Also Do you have this option "Threaded Optimization"?

Oh yes, I missed that one. It's set to use global setting (Auto).

I've done that more times than I can count. It always has 1 file that fails the validation.
