    @ EternalCore

Can you also check my crash problem? Just because support line is taking ages to reply.
    http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...pport%29/page3

It's only crashing in Multiplayer after finishing a round.
During gaming MP and SP there are no problems.

PS. Sorry for the topic break

Okay navigate to here: "C:\Program Files(x86)\Ubisoft\FarCry 3\bin" And Run FC3UpdaterSteam.exe manually without steam.

    Then report back.
Doing that launched uPlay and asks for my CD Key, then tells me it's invalid.

Going back old-school with DirectX9 works for me. Seems they used only a little to non of the DirectX11 components, since the game looks almost the same. No more crashes or framedrops. Even with V-sync on!

    My specs:
    Windows 7 64bit
    i7 2600K @ 5GHz
    8GB Dual-channel @ 1600MHz
    GeFroce GTX 690

Did you force the game to run DX9 by typing in -dxlevel 90 in the steam launch options? That's the only way I'd be able to do it, seeing as how I cant even get into the game to change options there, and dont have the GamerProfile.xml file in the My Games folder.

DX9 runs terrible overhere (windows 8).... i also tried that.
Stuttering / lagging / doesn't run smooth. But indeed no crashing though.

Switching to DX9 makes no difference for me - I still crash before the game even loads.

Your error is different as it's a dll in the game causing it to crash; so first verify that your game files are intact, if that doesn't work then you should submit a support ticket.

Okay, I've done that. Now, uPlay will not launch from Steam, and, if I try launching the game from the directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Far Cry 3\bin), it asks me for my CD key and still says it is invalid.

I've noticed that the FC3Update comes up in my processes (under task manager) but disappears within a few seconds and then nothing happens for whatever reason.

Try this Uninstall Uplay and then install it again.
