Okay, the first time i played this mission everything was allright. No bugs. But i started a new game after i finnished it, and this time the mission is totally bugged.
-First, the 3, 4, and 5 crops are ALREADY burned.
-Second, i burn the 1 and 2 crops, but the game doesn't registers it as burned, so i have to load last checkpoint.
-Third, Jason doesn't speak during the mission like the first time.
-Fourth, the boat doesn't move when i have to destroy it.
Please, this is my favourite mission, and i don't know what happened. The mission can be completed after loading last checkpoint 2 or 3 times, but i can't enjoy like the first time. Anyone with the same problem?
Same experience here. It worked out fine the first time around, but is bugged in my second single-player game.
That's a glimmer of hope! I'd give this method a try when I get home. I have notified support of this problem, and have gotten no firm answer on if this issue will be addressed in the next patch (within this week, says the support person). The mission can be completed after loading last checkpoint 2 or 3 times, but i can't enjoy like the first time.
Please report all bugs/glitches to Tech Support so they can submit your info to the team for a fix. Thanks!
I can confirm this occurs for me as well on the PS3 platform. I've tweeted the official Twitter account for this development team about it, not that it's any less effective or recommended than EvilPixieGrrr's suggestion. I'll quote a post from GameFaqs.com from the user SirPandalot:
Ok so first start the mission by burning the first 2 crop patches then walk towards the next patch until yu get a confirmation then instantly reload checkpoint, after you reload and it says burned 3 of 5 or 4 of 5 go back and burn the first 2 again then proceed to the last 2 and burn them. If the last 2 are already burnt and the all the others are burnt proceed to the fishing village and stand close to the boat and just reload last checkpoint. This should make all the crops come up as burnt and you can proceed to blowing up the boat.
