Hi everyone,

Just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself to you all as I'm new to the Ubisoft forums but certainly not communities in general.

Years ago I fell in love with Farcry and the map editor and for several years its lay dormant for the other things I was doing in life but I'm back with more than a passion for making maps. I'm certainly no expert that is for sure but I have started a new tutorial video playlist to try and help people with making good maps.
It's not so much a tutorial at the moment just a ... what have I found out and am sharing so it's starting again from the bottom and hopefully working up to the top of the technical side of things,

I wanted to invite you all to check out the first few episodes I have done, each one is from 10-15 mins long depending on what I think about at the time. Nothing is edited its all done in one go so people can see any issues I come up with. I do stream when I'm making them and I also stream maps that I make.

I'm a huge fan as I said above and for the last 5 years have been heavily focused on running my eSports team BETAMAXX and not had much time for extra things but now I have retired from competing and just run the team this gives me more chance to work on other projects that I want to.

I am also offering to review any maps you have made on the 360 either by telling me your tags to find the map or by inviting you to guide me around the map and we can do it like an interview/review and will feature it on our channel and our site.

I'd appreciate anyone who can if they could subscribe to us on Youtube and Twitch and we plan to run many community nights as well.

As I said I'm no expert I'm just sharing tips of what I enjoy and hope some people may pick up a few things every now and again.

Back after the Christmas break, someone commented on one of the videos asking about rivers running on multiple levels so I've made this tutorial to show you a little more about understanding water.
