    Issues climbing towers

Is anyone else having issues climbing towers on the PC version of the game? I've got to the point where the towers on the second island are almost unclimbable due to some kind of glitch which stops me even walking up an undamaged flight of stairs, then trying to walk on a narrow beam or jump/ climb where you need to is a nightmare, it's almost like the you're not lined up and just fall off the edge.

Has anyone had this issue and managed to fix it?

Good to know I am not the only one!!! The game has become completely unplayable!!! It refuses to let me climb or enter Store doorways. I doubt seriously the Far Cry 3 gives an rats rear end about addressing the GLITCH!

I haven't had any technical problems with them, they get a lot harder but all are possible.

same here. no problems for me at all.
did you guys remap your controls. try resetting them to default and then set them back to how you had them and see if that helps.

I've had this problem, and I know that the developers know about this and are working on it. A LOT of people have complained that Jason has trouble going up stairs, particularly on towers, or transferring from one board to another. I just jump.

I think it's just part of the puzzle. It just gets harder on the lower part of the map.
Sometime crouching will help. Sometimes you need to make a difficult jump.
When you fall of a tower, just try again and again and again. Like a pitbull. ;-)

In many areas, not just towers, Jason will struggle to walk up a step that is formed of a simple plank of wood, requiring me to *jump* over a 2cm high obstacle, that's not part of any puzzle, that's a glitch. I've got a selection of screenshots of these obstacles on my other PC, to demonstrate how ridiculous it is.

Additionally, some jumps onto ropes require you to look *below* the ropes to trigger the prompt rather than at them.

I have these problems on both PCs I play on, one with nVidia and one with AMD. It's an engine bug for sure.

This also happens to me a lot, and I've clocked up some 350+ hours of game play by now. The only thing that seems to work for me is to point my mouse as if I am looking "up the stairs" before hand and then 'ol J'boy manages to stroll along just fine. Those **** floor boards though, what a pain!
