Assassin’s creed® 3 hits the 7 million sales mark worldwide

ASSASSIN’S CREED® 3 HITS THE 7 MILLION SALES MARK WORLDWIDE

london, uk — December 12, 2012 —Today, Ubisoft® announced that Assassin’s Creed® 3 is the fastest-selling game in the company’s history, with total sell-through topping the 7 million mark worldwide just one month after its release.

Fans have wasted no time exploring the game’s open world, and getting involved in the action-packed story. In solo missions alone, players have accumulated more than 82 centuries of gaming time and committed more than 3 billion assassinations. The deadly action continues in the multiplayer, where more than twice as many players have joined the multiplayer mode compared to Assassin’s Creed® Revelations. To date, more than 250 million assassinations have been performed in more than 5 billion multiplayer sessions.

“We are delighted with the performance of Assassin’s Creed III this Christmas,” said Rob Cooper, UK managing director, Ubisoft. “This is a beautiful and epic game of exceptional quality and we’re pleased that our fans have responded so well to the brand new universe, storyline and game experience.”

Customers still can benefit from a special offer on the game in the run up to Christmas. A special edition of the game is currently available at Game stores nationwide and includes the game and the additional unlockable content “A Dangerous Secret”.

I'm sorry but this Rob Cooper guy's statement clearly shows he's not talking about AC3 on the PC the phrases "exceptional quality" and "our fans have responded so well" are as far from the truth as it is possible to get. If this guy honestly means this then he needs his mental faculties assessing as he's clearly delusional otherwise I suggest Ubisoft retracts this manufactured statement and starts with something more honest like the TRUTH

I imagine the majority of posters in the Assassin's Creed 3 PC section couldn't care less. Seeing as many of us still haven't been able to play the game thanks to Ubisoft's poor work.

The audacity of posting this in the PC forum is hard to rationalize.

Awesome, i always wondered about this game sales figure, and it deserves all the best as its obvious how much time and hard work it took to deliver such an EPIC game. thank you Ubisoft for all efforts and i hope that this would motivate all ppl involved to create faster patches to fix bugs and glitches in SP and MP.

Its a real shame that a masterpiece like AC gets bad reviews and average sale while shooters like CoD that offer nothing new ever always get praised into heaven. Only the historical research for AC3 must have been more manhours than the whole developpingof Black ops 2
