Just a warning.
I used this mod and it caused my weapons to automatically holster when making any sort of movement. When i did bring up a weapon, it was held pointing at the ground for some reason, and would not fire at all. The worst part is that when i reverted the hex edit, it made no changes in game, and i was stuck not being able to use weapons. Even after overwriting the game files with back up files, the problem did not go away.
I had no choice but to start a new game.

This is an incredible mod. I will definitely use this until Ubisoft includes their own holster weapon... if they ever actually do.

I really love how this feature looks. but it seems they disabled it because it was not finished and was buggy.
few bugs i have with this:
1) Any mini-game that ilvolves shooting including trials, dont allow me to draw weapon or fire. Selection of weapon, aim and shoot buttons doesnt help. So i stuck with knife with any of such mini games. Same happen even on story mission where some gun given to you (not that one you carrying)
2) Walking around rocks and getting down looks weird, low height jump looks like real fall from high height with chars "eeeeaah" sounds.
While i can play with 2, bug 1 makes game really broken in many places. so i have to return to unrealistic default FPS crap ((( Shame Ubi have not finished this and full body awareness, this could have made game much more realistic.
I really hope that with patch Ubi will fix this and will make proper full body awareness and FOV controls for arms (i mean arms really so close so even high FOV doesnt help me to stop tunnel vision and im still having headache, because my brain feels distance between arms, camer and objects in word and knows that there is something weird with it)

sometimes if you run to a cliff but dont jump and just stop before the cliff, he holsters the weapon. thats my only problem.

If you encountered any problem in active situation - just revert to original state the .dll and switch back if you finished this part.
Otherwise in some case this little mod add more realistic feeling - eg. if enemies seriously hit you the weapon holstered automatically (some game use this) .
That's not the mods fault. You were standing in an area where the game automatically holsters your weapon for you, like Amanaki or Citra's Temple. If you'd just walked 50 yards out, you'd have been fine.,Originally Posted by Tskales Go to original post
