    Oh, do not tell me those cruel things! It's only matter of your own experience. Stalker, ghost recon, flashpoint. People can beat it some ways (= Besides, if you're wearing armor, you've become much more survivable

    Well when I say realistic I mean, I want to limit the arcaneness as much as possible. I enjoy playing with minimal hud elements and trying to find my own way/solutions. Obviously i'm not looking for an ARMA experience but something more than the default of the game.

    I've got a problem with the hexa edit of the DLL files : I followed these tweaks :

    From karmakgb
    Alternatively, you can search for "CTaggingComponent" in your .dll and change the value for "C" to 00. Same effect but the first one doesn't change the .dll.

    Hey everyone, I've appended to my original post about removing the wallhack when using the camera (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...=1#post8781800). I noticed animals were being tagged, so you'll have to search for and change the following array as well:

    Change the second to last value from 73 to 6F, so it reads like so:

    Essentially, you're renaming the command howThroughWalls to ShowThroughWallo, which nullfies the commands when it's called. Let me know if this works for you!

    I made the three changes. And I did exactly the same method for having the tom solo's tweaks that turns off blinking, and for the holster enhancement. And it works for the last two ! But suprise, I still have crouch icon, and markers on head of animals and enemies when I scope them with the camera. The wallhack itself is gone (they don't show their figures thru the walls and other) but i can still see icons of location, and also on the minimap. I believe that I still have the objectives markers too for the same reason.

    What is wrong ? Has I missed something ? Or these tweaks were found for older version and hexa valors change when you switch on 1.4 ?

    Also, I know this is not supposed to be a request thread, but is there a chance that a modder re-do a compilation like the compilation mod 2.6 but without the privateer outfit nor the +70% weapon cost, and adding the last update of fnx ballistix and some feats of Swartz ? That would be an awesome pack !

    Its a simple .dll editing - minimap removed. Only need the minimap background editing and removing icons and borders. This is all in one image. Work in progress.

    Help please!

    I installed the compilation v2.6 of this mod: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...=1#post8820880

    But the game doesnt work for me now. When I'm on the main menu, I can go in to the options, etc ..., but if I choose campaign, it doesnt work, and doesnt start the game. And I cant do anything else, just leave the game.

    Any solution? Thanks!

    I should've been more specific.

    Search hex values for
    43 54 61 67 67 69 6E 67 43 6F 6D 70 6F 6E 65 6E 74
    Then change to
    00 54 61 67 67 69 6E 67 43 6F 6D 70 6F 6E 65 6E 74
    Essentially you change the first value from "43" to "00". This makes "C" look like a "."

    I'm pretty sure if you do that then no icons will appear. I don't actually use this version of my fix but I believe that's how it works. If you're doing this then you don't need to/probably shouldn't use Kyodan's version (more .dll hacks then necessary are not good, in principle). Hope that helps.
