    The weapon ballistics mod was intended to add weapon realism, just like all other mods are aimed at increasing realism and immersion.

    It is not realistic to have to spend 50 machine gun bullets to kill a tiger, or not to be able to kill a human with a sniper rifle bullet to the head, or to have a range of 170 meters for a 12.7mm heavy sniper rifle.

    The added killing power and range are reasonably balanced by the fact that the enemy weapons also get the same upgrades, so that, for instance, enemy snipers with SVDs really can kill you with one bullet, and the 50 cal DShK MGs now tear you apart in a second. Furthermore, reload times are greatly increased, automatic reload is disabled, and all of the assisting elements from the HUD are removed (such as the stealth indicator, the tagging, the minimap etc.).



    If you don't like it, don't use it, but please refrain from badmouthing the hard-working modders, and don't compare them to idiots who can't spell and are only after quick cheats.
    Yeah don't tell me to learn to read when your 1.6 version of it never mentioned that last part, jerk.

    Have you previously installed one of the packs that gave you all the weapons? If you saved afterwards, the game is going to think that you have forever gained those weapons...

    I installed 1.6 which he didn't warn did that but I didn't save over it, and when I loaded back the old 1.4 version the 1st island weapons weren't free. *sigh* Meh it doesn't bother me too much.

    If I replace the backed up patch.dat and patch.fat files and the FC3_d3d11.dll FC3.dll with the original files, is there any way any of the mods could still affect the game in any way?

    Just wondering because I had the above compilation mod for 1.02 installed, then went back to default files to update game, but now some weird things are happening to the minimap and I want to rule out the fact that any mods are affecting it before reporting a bug (with the minimap stretching while applying in-game antialiasing) in the game vers. 1.03.

    I've been getting random crashes while using the camera lately and suspected the wallhack .dll hack. I made a small change and it SEEMS to be fixed. Hard to be sure but I've played for awhile with no crashes.

    All I did was change "ShowThroughWallsAlpha" to ".howThroughWalls Alpha" (00 68 6F 77 54 68 72 6F 75 67 68 57 61 6C 6C 73 41 6C 70 68 61)

    Another way to put it is that I changed the first value from 53 to 00 instead of changing the last value from 61 to 6F.

    I made the same change to "Show Through Walls". Like I said, could have been a personal issue and might not be totally fixed but if you were having a problem, try this. Also, this wallhack removal thing only seems to work 90% of the time. Anyone have any idea why it's not 100%?

    All Attachments+Travel tweaks

    This mod combines all attachments mod with some tweaks I've made to flight and travel.

    Changelog:

    -Removed fall damage
    -Increased release speed for wingsuit
    -Decreased camera offset on wingsuit launch
    -Increased slope angle before sliding from 45 to 59.9
