i would like a 2x or 3x or 4x scope
a night vision scope
a thermal scope
some different bows.... with different
ranges, string draw speed, re set arrow speed, overpowered shot strengths
long bow ( can be a skill taught in a dlc mission)
(you could make one in the jungle out of a tree and animal hide and some plant..)
(arows could be made from a different tree, feathers, and nails, bullets,coins, rocks, grenades,animal teeth or arrow heads for tips)
cross bow

when you have the bow string fully extended you should be able to click RS and you stretch it back extra hard right before you make the shot..
this would make the arrow fly a little straighter.. , but if you click RS and you dont let go very soon after multiple things could happen..
a. your fingers slip off the arrow and it fires
b the front of the arrow could slip off the guide ( causing it to shoot left)
c. your pull maybe tooooo strong and the arrow will pull to the ground pre maturely
d. your string could come off, and you have to re tie it on... ( it is and animation, using the feet, and it take a minute, so youd better be in a safe place
d2 the string whiping off would hurt your hand, you look down at it, look back up and
d3the noise from the string whiping off would make animals spook and run away/ would alert nearby enemies
and i want to be able to sit in the passenger seat of a car and shoot my bow or guns....
and there should be a special bow or two and some gold guns just hidden somewhere in the islands....
and ieds as a recipe, made from grenades or mines or c4 plus stuff you find while looting and strap them together...... kaboom?
.. jump + B = somersault ?? or dive?
and maybe someone from ubisoft could call me and confirm that someone has read any of this forum, or has any plas too....
i would type all this anyway.... but im just interested if this is just the new model to make customers feel as though the have input
or a place to vent.... or if this is actually being use as a tool for game development....
It took me a little bit to get into the game but the second day playing it I am hooked.. this game is amazing! I could not even half way finish fc2. But this game is just awesome. I love that you can actually sneak around and modify guns.. by the way why in the heck can you not mod the AK47?? It has a attachment rail on it.. that's kinda a Bumber though. But the sounds of the weapons are really good. That actually sound loud unlike other games were they still just sound really quiet. Ubi did a great job on this game.
Please fix the HUD. I hate hand-holding in an open world setting. You all have built a very immersing world and the most non-immersive presentation. Quest arrows, Mission pop-up reminders, glowing plants, even the mini-map should all have the option to be removed. I am a big boy, please treat me like one.
After playing for a couple of hours I have to throw in the towel on this one. The HUD, pop-ups, mini-map, basically everything that holds your hand and tells you what to do is just way to distracting for me. If the game sucked I wouldnt mind so much, but this game has some serious potential. I will wait for this to be patched before playing. Heres hoping you guys get it done soon.
Great game over all, but, like everyone else in here, way too much hand holding. Blinking objects, tutorials that won't go away unless you read them, every object already on the mini map, the game repeatedly telling you where to go. Seriously, what kind of GPS system has the location of every flower and their color on planet earth? Less hand holding, more exploration. Also, what's the point of having an open world when the game is constantly threatening me that I'm straying too far from the objective. How about you let ME decide that, game!?!?
I vote for a hardcore mode that is slightly more difficult and has all HUD elements removed except for the absolute mandatory ones.
I love FC3 and I appreciate your hard working UBI , From what I can see in the game , You have made a cinematic story , an addictive voice acting , a challenging maps with tons of things to do and to collect , My respect to you and your amazing long long lasting appeal FC3 .
I have some suggestions might help in the next FC :
- i would like to use 2 or 3 weapons from the beginning of the game , no need to craft a goat skin to assign another weapon , Because sometimes I have no goat skin and I need to use a weapon immediately .
- i wish that FarCry could take a place in the city , The same open world in a city not in a jungle , could be more addictive and there could be many things to do as well .
- How about climbing mountains and buildings as easy as in Assassin's Creed games ? I think it could be the most amazing addition to the game .
- Can we have an option to call vehicles , planes or helicopters on the go ? as in MG4 ( Metal Gear 4 ) , The player have a wireless mobile phone or another device that can call cars or even tanks and you get what you ask for in a matter of seconds and at the same place you are standing .

- Why no weapon customization ON THE FLY ? It's realy inconvenient that you have to fast travel to one of the safehousese to customize your weapons.
- Just a shotgun shot takes a tiger down, but it takes 4 sniper rifle shots to bring him down ?
- You want to wander around to explore the island, but a message appears on screen warning you that you go too far from the objective ?

how about being about to move dead bodies?? i know you have the script done already... just assign a button for the pick up

. loose the mission area msg, and make the mission area twice as big... no one will wander that far unless the have to go back for ammo...
..loose the fast travel,,, enable the homie hitchhiking with allies

Well, first off, single player rocks, but I would like to see more enemies in the area. I know that once we gain an outpost, we have it, and I don't want enemies to re-spawn there, but having some patrols on the road or some firefights would be nice also. In FC2, I always felt like I had to watch out for a random patrol on the road. It made me feel immersed in the game. I also miss safe houses being numerous like in FC2 (again, made it feel like I was hiding from the enemy, instead of taking over the island). The only thing I have to worry about now are predators (mainly Komodo Dragons, lol). I miss being able to accelerate time and "sleep" like the character could in FC2. Dare I also say that the difficulty factor is not that hard, and I'm on the hardest level. Overall though, it is excellent. I would just like to see some tweaks.
I freaking love ths game, It's by far the best game of the entire year and perhaps one of the best released on the Xbox 360 console, the game is unbelievably well done and I would like to see a lot more done within the game, if you want me to praise the game for what it deserves then you can go read every review on the internet about it .But what annoys me from start to finish was this idea that once I had conquered the entire island it would be full of friendly faces and only nature would pose a threat.
What I would love to see:
An additional piece of downloadable content or update that allows for pirates and privateers to re-take strongholds slowly, like one every in-game week, including them conquering the roads and slowly taking over the small settlements. But this should remain an optional extra in the menu, not a core gameplay aspect
An airport with a pilot who, for a small fee of around one hundred dollars, will fly you over a specific area at the maximum limit of the skybox and allow you to sky-dive out into the world below, especially during missions. I would also like to see some of the invisible barriers in the skybox removed when it comes to certain missions.
More sentient or random events occuring on the path. Skyrim had loads of random encounters that helped keep the gameplay a bit more fresh and a little less repetative, in Far Cry 3 I have only seen three which I would consider random encounters. I have fond memories of stalking pirates across a beach who were trying to capture someone, something like that that isn't such mission based and adds more people and a sentient atmosphere to the game would be lovely.
More weapon mods for the guns in singleplayer, they're present in multiplayer and some guns could do with a few more upgrades and whatnot.
The ability to "acquire" a pirate uniform and a privateer uniform after the campaign has finished which both act as the privateer uniform does in the later half of the game but make them equippable through the rucksack or options menu to increase the levels of stealthy-ness within the game.
A system of stealth where when you, for example, snipe someone with a silencer they don't immediately come in your direction, perhaps search the general direction that the sound came from but not immediately coming towards you. When I fire a silenced M700 from a good distance away it's pretty annoying when they all sorta' shamble towards me.
The constant reminder in the top left corner of what mission I am supposed to be doing is very annoying.
Also, I hate that every time I get in a jeep, the radio is on and I have to turn it off. And as for vehicles, in Far Cry 2 we could turn the lights off for more stealth in the dark. Could you add this?
