    Its Been YEARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRs!

    Thnx for this ONE UBI, I have not had an adventure like this since halflife one; so much inovation in this game.
    I have not finished the game yet but it feels like one of those good movies you don't want to end.
    Keep up the great work. I love it !

    Hi all.
    I have been playing this great game on PC with no problems except one.
    The sniper rifles need fixing, there range is useless and the scopes could be improved for range.
    Apart from that, I am a happy player.

    ok so this is about the co-op campaign.

    There are some problems with it.
    (playing offline 2 player splitscreen)

    1. first up a bug. When you die, you go back to the start of the mission, not the checkpoint. this get's pretty annoying. - This needs a FIX!

    2. It's too serious on "Easy" - if i have the game on easy I expect things like my heavy weapon ammo to be full at the start of the mission, not rationed.

    3. Loadouts - Here is a problem.
    Why is player 2 stuck with crappy guns?

    Player one gets all the weapons and mods that have been unlocked in multiplayer.
    Player 2 gets to pick from 4 box standard loadouts none of which even have a scope (bar sniper)

    This is unfair. It puts player 2 on a massive disadvantage, and really cuts down on the fun player 2 has.
    I played as player 2 because i am a nice guy, so this REALLY irritated the hell out of me.

    If it's co-op - then how about letting player co-operate, I should be able to pick any weapon and any loadout that is available to either of the players.
    This does not have to be the case online - but 2 people on the same xbox should be able to use the same guns.


    4. we are still not done with the weapons - why is it that when i die i only have 20 seconds to pick my loadout before the game automatically starts. this is stupid and broken.
    (stupid and broken in MP too - why i always have to rush on my loadouts, and can't just be not-ready?)

    5. MORE WEAPONS GRIEF!!!
    so how do you imagine you change or create a custom loadout for an offline co-op game?
    1. quit the game and exit co-op mode entirely
    2. from the main menu - go to online multiplayer
    3. in multiplayer mode - create a new loadout, from the available unlocks you have
    4. exit multiplayer mode.
    5. Load up co-op mode
    6. select offline co-op
    7. select weapon - and level
    8 laugh at the person playing with you as they have an inferior gun to you, and crappy perks.

    seriously - I have to go to online multiplayer - to pick a gun for offline co-op - and this does not seem a little strange?

    I will be playing offline co-op again tonite, I don't expect these issues to be addressed by then, but i would think about getting it done soon.

    First of all I would like to say thanks for this thread.

    Next I will say that I'm glad that the developers listened to a lot of
    our feedback after FC2 and incorporated some of the best things of both
    FC1 & FC2.

    So on the positive side I love the tropical islands and water location that was similar to FC1.

    I love the animals and how the game feels alive with real weather and
    time although I do think FC2 had done the weather and time a little
    better.

    What I would like to see in the near future:

    1. most important request is for the devs to add Single player
    mission sharing so we can all make and create single player missions and
    upload/download them, just like we could in FC1. Many people are
    disappointed the SP game is finished for them, you can make MANY people
    happy by offering this option so we can squeeze a year or two more life
    out of it before FC4

    2. Enemy Re-spawning - We need to have
    enemies to come back and attempt to retake the bases or even drive
    around hunting us after the bases are taken out. I have purposely left
    most of the bases in the game alone as I hear that once you take them
    out the game is really boring. We obviously don't want it to the extreme
    and repetitiveness of FC2 but we want something better than this.


    Other things that come to mind but are all minor compared to the above....

    # the main character is too much of a whimp, I would have liked to have him more like or the same guy as in FC1

    # We should be able to use a gamepad & keyboard & mouse and be
    able to map the controls to how ever we want so for example I would use
    the gampad for driving vehicles and use the keyboard/mouse for basically
    everything else.

    # The time moves to fast and there is not enough changes in weather. I
    like to sit and enjoy the sunset like in FC2, with FC3 it is finished
    before I can sit back and look at it.

    # The Crafting etc interface is clumsy.. I have to move my mouse around
    to I can finally get it to hover over the right options. We should be
    able to do all this much easier.

    # The physics are disappointing with things like plants, grass etc don't respond like in FC2.

    # the driving is choppy for me on my laptop otherwise the graphics are
    OK but when in boat or vehicle the graphics are very poor.

    hhmm, well that is all that comes to mind but please add some re playability to the game and give us SP mission and map sharing plus add some enemy re spawning.

    Amazing game Ubi, but one small niggle, Spider Relic 1 is locked once you reach south island, is there anyways to patch this or enter from somewhere else?

    Only problems I don't like so far are.

    1. Animals & humans vanashing after 20 seconds, so meany times I have tried to get deer skin only to start the animation, the animal vanishes & my character puts some meat/skin in my bag but it doesn't count :-@ ahhhhhhh

    2. Framerate/FPS is bad sometimes, can't you reduce some of the foliage/grass to increase it? I'm running the game from a USB3.0 16GB pen with fast read speed, faster then the hdd, it's great for BF3 to :-) so the fps drop isn't always down to read speed from the disc, as I'm not using it.

    Bar that I'm loving the game.

    I'm on Xbox 360 & I know it's USB2.0 but with a USB3.0 pen you get the max read speeds, 35+MBS

    Poker suggestion

    The poker game is fun. One small bug, though. When Marcus (guy on the left) busts out, he stands behind us and talks nonstop like other NPC's as if he was greeting us. After an hour session with the remaining players, it gets to be aggravating. The other NPC's don't do this, probably because they're farther away in relation to where I'm sitting.

    HI,

    Just one annoying issue for me which I would be delighted if you could fix in the next patch:

    Please allow for analog input from both the mouse *and* the XBox 360 gamepad at the same time. I have an XBox and a PC but prefer to play FPS games on PC because of hte precision of mouse aiming. In contrst I like driving games more on the X360 'cos the gamepad makes controlling vehicles more immersive with analog steering, accelleration, breaking and looking around the interior. However, with FC3, an an increasing number of FPS games in gerneral, you have driving elements. Whilst most of these games allow you to use both controller and keyboard and mouse at the same time, FC3 does not and I was rather surprised to find this to be the case. Enabling the gamepad disables all mouse input and I cannot fathom why the decision to limit input was taken. Both GTA 4 and Mafia 2 (although these are 3rd person I know) to name but two, allow analog input from both mouse and keyboard at the same time so it is not impossible to do.

    I am not the only one either, there are many folks complaining about this.

    I pray this is not falling on deaf ears. Thank you.
