    CPU temperature in game

Hey, I was just curious; what temperatures are you folks getting while running Far Cry 3? I have a 3570k cpu and a 7850 gpu. I set all the settings to high except for shadows, and I turn AA completely off. All my cores are running just under 50c; except for my first core that lingers around 50 to 55c. At idle it usually runs at 35c and occasionally goes up 2 or 3 degrees. I' ve always been cautious about my temps, and I wanted to hear some feed back from you guys.

    I am also using a 7850 card
Settings are at ultra with 2 x msaa

Getting about 30~40+ fps, smooth enough for me

Temps go up to 68~70 deg Celsius

    Quite comfortable for me

The game is running very well for me too so far; I think I lucked out and got mine without issues. What cpu are you going on?

For an Ivy Bridge CPU those are great temps.

The thermal cut-off for Ivy Bridge chips is 105 degrees Celsius and will start throttling itself at ~98 degrees so you're perfectly fine.

50C on a 3570k is way under where you should get worried, even 90C under load is fine. Ivybridge doesn't throttle itself until ~105C.
