Okay, I was about to start up the game when I notice that there was an update for the game. I downloaded the update and it had the fix for the save game issue, so I installed the update and I was going to play the single player mode and when I hit single player and hit continue it loaded for a little bit, maybe 3 seconds then instead of going to the ubisoft logo like last time it just went to the main menu. So even if this patch fixed the restart issue to the ubisoft logo, it still did not fix the problem with starting up the single player mode from the save game data. i decided to turn off the system and turn it back one to see if maybe it just needed to restart, but when I hit the single player button and hit continue it it restarted to the ubisoft logo again. Now what?

Are you Serious? I put a lot of time in the single player game, I was at sequence 8 and now I play it now. Now I have to restart. This really sucks.Originally Posted by rego00123 Go to original post
According to Ubisoft's support Twitter account, it seems that the patch is indeed unable to fix a save that's already corrupted

oh okay. I don't like it I have to restart the single player game again, but the good thing is that the patch fixes the problem and prevents it from happening again, I guess its worth restarting the game again. The good thing is that I was able to get to the max lvl on the multiplayer, which is good.Originally Posted by philpee2 Go to original post![]()
That really sucks, publishers should never allow games to be released with save file glitches. That being said, I haven't started the game yet, because I kept waiting for this patch. And the thread by Diilite kept saying "coming soon" and never gave us an update as to when the game update would be released.
Same exact thing happened with me. I had finished the storyline and was trying to do mop-up of the collectibles. The small saving grace is now I can be more precise about the collectibles I collect.Originally Posted by philpee2 Go to original post
