FC3 won't load, crashes on black screen | Forums

Far Cry 3 won't work. When I load the game, logo pops up. Then I wait for it to load. And it just shows a black screen with no error dialogs. I looked up in the task manager and it said FC3.exe is not responding. Please help?

I have Windows 8 x64, GTX 570

I can run AC3 perfectly on this computer. So this game should of worked as well.

Wow, I really want UBISOFT to fix this problem, already! Lots of people are having this problem, please, UBISOFT, Help us with our problems? I will be active on this forum, till ubisoft gives us the fix to the problem.

It's getting g really old to be told to contact support all the time, that's all you guys say. You know what, I have for 3days I have sent dxdiag pictures and still not a sound so please tell that support to get a grip and answer their costumers.

There may be many reasons this is happening, support are the best people to troubleshoot, they can also get an idea of how many this is affecting which will go towards patches.

Hi,

Well, I can get game to load. And even play a while but it does have problems contacting online servers... And while in game when I press Esc it tries to contact servers that says, it's not possible and I have Menu. BUT when I hit Esc again to go back into play it fills the scenery with water and I have no possibility to do anything apart from going back to Menu.
So WHAT is it with Ubisoft servers ??? Yesterday it worked fine.
The game does not even load when I go for Off-line play...

Man, I don't know why did i buy this game, i bought this game because it was awesome, and far cry 2 and 1 was so awesome that i had to buy this game, Has anyone found the fix yet?
