I'm puzzled. I've tried dx9 and dx11 (water quality very high) but the water looks very flat and generic. There's no depth, there are no waves. I don't get it to be honest. Crysis/Bioshock had great looking water, those games are from 2006... I mean come on?
Why does it looks so bad?
Considering we spend a lot of time on an island surrounded by water, you'd think they would spend some time on the water.
I took a screenshot while riding a car: http://www4.picturepush.com/photo/a/...mous/water.png
Come to think of it, the game doesn't look that great to be honest.
I'm running the game in directx9, everything on high, except water which is very high.

The game runs pretty good so far, I have everything on high except for water which is very high. I'm also running in dx9 mode, dx11 seems to drop like 10-18 fps in heavy fights. I honestly can't tell a difference anyways. My fps outdoors is around 45+, indoors or village 60fps steady.
