I'm picking up my insane edition of far cry 3 for pc tomorrow and just now it hit me.
Can I register the cd key I get with the game on steam or anywhere on your sites?
The thing is, I don't have a dvd drive at the moment and so it would mean a great deal if I can register the key or not.
So yeah my question is if I can register my physical copy of Far cry 3 : insane edition on steam or my uplay in some way.
This is pretty important really since it might break the deal for me in the morning when I pick it up.
If it can be downloaded/installed and played by registering the cd key on steam or uplay then I'm fine.
If I have to use the discs included I can't install the game because of my lack of a dvd-drive that's functional and I would have to ask for a refund from said store and give up.
I really hope there is some solution to this or just simple answer saying yes to steam support or maybe some other method provided by you guys to let me download the files needed for installation.
Figured since the insane edition has pretty much the same in game content as the digital deluxe version, maybe you could provide a download for that or something?
Thanks in advance!
It doesn't, I can't install it with the discs.
I need a digital download to get the game working.
If that can't be arranged in some way, like I give you a photo of the cd key tomorrow or something.
It looks like I'll be returning my copy afterall..
Not to be like that but ****, that ruined my week for sure..
...Just tell me one online platform that doesn't. Origin does and so does Steam, so why not Uplay too?Originally Posted by V.x. Go to original post
