    Sounds funny the way you put it, but it's the truth. The decreasing barometric pressure causes a slight change of pressure in the injured joint, thus causing pain. Most people it is a mild ache, for some, it is painful.

    Painful is putting it mildly. Downright agony when it is gonna rain, my right one lets me know. When it is gonna snow the left one tells me allllll about it, in no uncertain terms. The more it hurts, the more snow or rain we'll get.
