Did all the above steps, very doubtful ill get a response any day soon due ot holiday. What is going on here? Why are steam cd keys not valid for uplay? Why do we have to use two gateway programs to get to our game? Is there a way to get my money back? I am very concerned about all this.
At random points or cinematics even very early on the game just disappears. It says that it is sill running and i can hear the music, but i cant do anything it basically just crashes. I tried to do a reinstall of the game and I still get the same problem. My PC far clears the game requirements. Help please!
Windows 7 64bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Card: GTX 580
The game worked wonderfully until I got to the portion where I have to get the feathers. Now the screen goes black and the music continues to play. Unless I reboot my computer it will then do the same thing just after launching the game (right after the "press any key" message).
My video driver is up to date.
Permanent Freez on my bro's pc at the "produced by a multicultural team" blablabla
PC ASUS 17 3610QM 2.80/3.4GHz 4Gb Ram DDR3 GT610 Nividia drivers up to date...To sum up we don't have anything outdated and the pc is totally able to run it assuming its component. Does it have to relate to the game itself...?
The game keeps crashing when Desmond entering the cave at the beginning - yep I can't even pass that point to continue the game!!!
WTH????
AC3 Freedom PC version
My Laptop: Asus N55S
CPU: i7 2670QM
Graphic: GeForce GT 635M
RAM: 8G
Win 7 64bit
And I've already updated graphic card driver to the latest version which is 306.97. It's the latest version I can download from nvidia official website.
I am playing with a 360 controller and it is behaving oddly. It seems like if I push the trigger button to run, it behaves like I have the trigger depressed even when I release it. My character is always in run mode and if I bump into anything climbable, my character tries to climb it. Also, the 'jump' text by the A button at the bottom right flickers on and off constantly. I was just playing AC:Brotherhood two nights ago and everything worked fine so it seems to be only a problem with AC3.
I'm about 5-6 hours into the game where i'm supposed to use the stockpile trade menu and once i buy the logs it wants me to go to the trade menu but it wont let go to it but it freezes up. I'm unable to make any more progress into the game because of this. If there is a way you can help or patch the game please tell me.
I'm having the trade menu tutorial issue as well. As described, after entering the tutorial you are able to navigate and buy wood, but after it says "Select the Trade Menu" there is no actual way of selecting the trade menu or backing out of the tutorial. Also worth noting is that if you navigate to any other menu when it asks you to go into your Stockpile, you'll end up stuck in one of the other menus too. Last I checked there were 4 or 5 people on the steam forums who also are having this issue. One lucky guy seemed to have had it fixed with a patch that came out this morning, however the remainder of us aren't so lucky.
Any feedback at all would be helpful.
