For your information, crytek made the original game and they even released the sdk and had mod support. Things have been going down hill since ubi acquired the IP. If paying 60 bucks for a game that would have client side hit detection, getting shot behind the wall, host migration and other issues is "FUN" for you, be my guest. That's not fun for most us though.
sooo true thats what a lot of the original FC1 players were waiting for,or was that hoping? very dissapointing to see where UBI is going for, great SP for sure but the MP is IMO the thing that could last through time if designed well, I still play FC1 cause its such a great game in MP, was really hoping for a cracking MP in FC3,with no DDS pffff, well lets see how it develops

Yep by the looks of it these publishers dont want their games to really succeed, they want to quick buck and run to the next IP, gaming has sort off not become a fun thing anymore because there is always something that is not standard on PC (ny preferred platform), its either a REALLY bad port or there's a lack of much needed settings OR seriously low res textures and so on, this is main reason for me NOT buying this "game". No dedicated servers, no purchase pumpkins!

I cancelled the pre order due Far Cry 3 does not support dedicated server. You can do it of course. It's your game. But don't whine about high warez rate then.

hahaha it's like the devs live in another world. Good job turning a blind eye. I'll gladly use my money on a company that actually CARES about it's products. Dedicated servers are such a no brainer in a pc game. The sales and fanbase you'd gain by having them trumps any reason 1000000x over for not.

    Hello from France,

I was hoping naively finally have a proper FPS with dedicated servers. Bad luck. I recently bought an AMD Radeon HD7870, Farcry 3 with the bundle. I took advantage of the offer. But without Dedicated servers support, I never bought your game.

I known a time where community had the tools to mod their favorite games. Then, DLC appears, and the "Call of Money" comes (for example : 4 maps - 15 bucks). No way, guys. Next step : Dedicated Servers on DLC, 30 euros ?

    Not so far, the cry.
