so im getting the comfort of a console and performance of a PC game so yeah - PC for me.
it's weird how so many of the ppl who voted actually voted PC....
PC.
Never could get into any of the consoles, the controllers seem to be built for hands very much smaller than mine for one thing, and being stuck at TV resolution just doesn't do it for me.
I've mentioned it before, but seems worth repeating: My son in law loved FC2 on my PC, so he bought it for his Xbox (might be a PS3, I never paid attention). So, this was my daughter's first experience with FC2. One day I happened to be in my man cave playing as they were about to leave after dinner and my daughter said "what is that game you are playing? It looks SO REAL!!!".
Her husband chimed in "that's Far Cry 2, same one I've got at home". She said "Are you sure? This is SCARY!"
And there you have it, 1920x1080 at a V-Sync locked 60FPS is simply awesome, and makes the game unrecognizable if you are used to consoles. Now if the next-gen consoles provide at least 1920x1080, and support keyboard and mouse via USB, then I can use my Fang Gamepad (keyboard) and Logitek G-5 gaming mouse I might go that route, but if they are limited to "traditional" style controllers, there is no possible way for me to even consider them as viable gaming platforms.
