    Throwing knives mute .05?

From what I gather with throwing knives that if you throw them and your target or purser is around you and then you go up to them in low profile you can stun/kill them since the button don't show up above their head?

    Am I correct on that?

In practice, but that's not what's actually happening. It temporarily reduces their kill/stun range, so you can kill/stun them without being contested with your longer reach. If you know the range you can run up in high profile, stop just short and stun for instance, it's just easier to do it in low profile so you can keep pressing kill/stun as you walk up.

Yeah, so it will look like you are just running straight up because of the lag, when in reality you stop just short and stun them out of range. If you run all the way and try to stun them the lag will overcompensate and you will be in range on their screen, allowing them to get a contested kill

Have they always been like that in all AC games?

No, it's just ACR and AC3, I'm glad they implemented this as I loathe SB, so this is my main def ability,

Hell if I knew they added it back in ACR I would have used SB and knifes and said to hell with mute lol.

But since I know that little piece of info. It makes this game ALOT easier to defend against your pursers.
