I heard it was delayed for a number of reasons , main reason rushing trying to get assasins creed out on ps vita before christmas. there aint nothing on earth thats gonna save the vita it was doomed when they priced it and having assasins creed wich is probablt its best game still wont help the dead sales.

But yeah Ubisoft passing up on the beta is kinda... messed up. One can only speculate on the reasons. They say it's not necessary. I say there's smoke and where there's smoke there's most likely gonna be fire.

We've made it clear the beta was for production purposes, not marketing. If the beta is not necessary, we cannot dedicate people from the production of the final game.

The only reason for the games delay is the reason is we provided. The rest is just noise. Assassin's Creed is developed by a different team.

Assassins Creed and FarCry 3 are two completely different projects. So AC does not affect FarCry 3.
