Assassin's Creed 3 - Passport code invalid? | Forums

I have just brought a brand new copy of Assassin's Creed 3, and upon starting the game, I was asked to enter the passport code, however, it kept on saying the code is invalid or have been used.

I live and brought the game in Hong Kong, I called up the shop and they say that because the game is supposed to be out tomorrow, so I have to wait until tomorrow to try again.

Is there such a thing as a region lock on the passport code?

Or is the code simply does not work?

Please let me know.

I'm facing the same problem. I live in Singapore, Asia, Region 3. Only my Passport code is invalid, the rest of my ULCs are working.

I hope it will work soon later.

Right, I too got the DLC code working, just the passport code is not. I am guessing three of us from Asia experiencing the same problem would not be a coincident. Please post here when your passport code is working, I will try at 12:00 AM, that would be in four hours time.

wow same here i just bought this game multiplayer is so exciting i thought the shop cheat my money lol and repackaged but the dlc code works .. guess really have to wait for tomorrow to test =/

tried buying but they say no items you can purchase at this time too but strangely the multiplayer match making session is online already

This is somewhat a relief. MY GAAWD!! i freaked out when i first enter the code and its invalid, bcos it happened to me b4 on Revelations as the code is from another Region. Good thing i checked the forum and found this thread.
It'll be a total relief if it worked later on.

And yeah i'll update when the code is working.

i totally didnt know about region thank God i bought region 3 asia correctly.. i guess if u from singapore or in asia generally just buy all region 3 to be safe bah >_<

Help I just bought acr 3 and I reddeemed the dlc's and work fine but the uplay passport won't work!!!!even in r3 and r1 and other region!!!

Nah they are only releasing officially for asIa on 31st Should be working tomorrow.
