Halloween Costumes! Anyone else using Guitar as part of their costume?

Who is gonna wear a costume and what is it going to be? I don't exactly know what to call mine, but it's just going to be me with wings and my guitar. haha. Winged Rockstar? I have a honeytone battery powered amp, so I can play while walking around. If I remember, I'll post pictures of it when I'm wearing it on Halloween. I'm still making my wings.

I'm pretty lame when it comes to costumes. I have a wig I've used for the past 7 or so halloweens, some fake rocker aviator-style glasses, and a few other things that I just throw on. I don't go all out. I'd be a bit worried about taking my guitar out of the house during halloween though, keep it safe

I went as Jimi Hendrix a few years ago. I even have a white Aria strat that I flipped around. Since I'm white, I decided I would be Timi Hendrix, Jimi's half brother from a different mother. I might have a picture somewhere.

    Edit, found the pic...

I'm doing the Kurt Cobain thing. I have a flannel shirt and I've learned most of In Bloom. I'm not sure if doing a blood spatter would be in good taste for work though (and I'm not a lefty although I do have a strat).

I was thinking about sitting outside my house with my amp and strat and just noodling while the kids came up but I'm not too sure about that, being that it'll be pretty cold out.

@Zuma: I was about to point out that you and Jimi have one very noticeable unshared trait!

@Carl: A guy at my office has a son who actually looks exactly like KC! Don't know if he'll be "doing" KC for Hallowe'en or not. . . but he should. Blood spatter might be a bit much, but if you're gonna do KC you should just have your wife (or find a really ugly woman. . . ) dress as Courtney Love and have her carry a shotgun as a prop.

I myself have always leaned toward pirates - even long before POTC became the rage, so I generally stick with that or a variation of it. Although, I also have a Riff Raff costume for attending the RHPC. Even at my worst I've never quite gotten "large" enough to pull off Meat Loaf, and Alice just sang, so no guitar in any of my standard costumes. . . Bummer because I have an old scrapped out First Act strat copy that I could use (it'll end up being a clock eventually).

Well, Ex-wife. She left last month so I'll have to chase down an ugly woman This is for work so she wouldn't be allowed in anyway and which is why I was thinking the bloodspatter thing might not go over well. We're not even allowed to Halloween or Christmas up the cubical. Heck, I've been counseled over my personal stuff to the point that I have nothing personal up on the walls.

We manage the US and Canada 911 databases. If you call 911, the address they have for you to confirm comes from our servers (92% of the market as of last info from upstairs). We have several other services and we're in the loop for Amber Alerts (we manage the distribution of the alerts but not the alerts themselves; they give it to us and we shoot it out to all our subscribers including Yahoo, and even America's Most Wanted).

    Serious stuff.
