Where are the server settings stored?

Where are the server settings for Hyperlobby stored? Are they in the sim or in HL? I cannot find them and I cannot change them in HL. When I try to change them they do not stay changed in the HL mission window.. the one that shows all your server settings. I looked in my config and users folders and in the HL folders as well.

    Windows 7...

Any application that uses .ini files to store setting should be moved out from under any kind of /Program Files/ folder. Windoze 7 will fight you (and your applications) every step of the way if you try to change .ini files.

Yeah Max I wound up having to go through all kinds of changes to change the permissions. I have 46 in a Games folder on my C drive.

AFAIK Hyperlobby client stores it's settings in hlpro.ini in it's own folder - Not in the 46 game folder, but somewhere under /Program Files/ or /Program Files(x86)/ causing the same conflict(s) with Windows 7 as IL-2 does. Many older programs are affected likewise. ini file -> install outside any /Program Files/

Moving/installing it outside the /Program Files folder tree should solve the problems and no further messing around with windows "security" settings should be necessary.

M$ meant well by protecting .ini files to force programmers using the windows registry instead (which is a special kind of ini file in essence), but they forgot about older programs that already use .ini files and would need re-programming to be compatible.

The M$ solution is worse than the problem (users editing ini files) IMHO.
