Well Yes academy and sylvan must be included in this game, along with alternates, more neutrals and more adventure map town buildings, more terrain types/ music, to me personally some resources. war machines mage guilds. and diggable treasure. If that is done add in the dwaves but the above is absolutely essential, with the most essential being, academy and sylvan with their terrain types.
I am with you all, I also want the Sylvan, Dungeon, and Academy in the new expansions. I have no doubt the Dungeon will be hit and run, stealth and assassination. The Sylvan obviously a flurry of power, strong, precise attacks from long range with a speciality in earth magic and the Academy no doubt unmatched in magic. Of course I could be wrong about all of the factions should they come back.I still if the fortress from heroes of might and magic 3 with the lizardmen was all that popular or not. Of course I thought giving the dwarves their own faction in heroes of might and magic 5 was a great idea and snowy mountains with a giant blacksmith theme fortress suited their style.
Dungeon won't have more then two stealth/assassination units. Maybe their faction "Special" (i.e. guardian angel, necromancy and ETC, don't remember the name of the mechanic) will involve stealth but I doubt they could find a reason to limit their unit diversity to these two roles for that faction. well i wan'tall the factions i don't wan't to exclude fortress but erwan said that won't be all the factions in heroes VI and if i wan't to exclude a faction that is fortres because i don't play whit them to much but i agree that must be included all the factions hope that Erwan don't speak seriosu whit that,academy and dungeon will be incuded be sure for that but i don't know about sylvan and dwarves.If heroes VI won't have sylvan academy i will refuse to play this game anymore,and i play daily this game and every day i chek the forum to see what's new.I just hope to not dispointed us
In Heroes III there are 3 expansions whay in heroes VI won't be more that 2 expansions?i tink the only guys how can decide this is Ubisoft but if they wanna make money i sugest them to make expansions i'm sure that manny people will by them.Might and Magic is a big Universe and i tink there are so much people that play heroes games.So far Heroes VI is the best from the series imagine if this will have a complete edition whit all the faction??that is a great gift for all the people that play Heroes VI

How to explain what I meant, well I most of the factions have two ranged units and I'm guessing that they will give the Sylvan three ranged units while the rest are melee specialist. I'm not saying that the wood elves will have weak low hp units but they need a specialty like everyone else. I might suggest different ways of using ranged techniques such as a storm of arrows or just one powerful explosive shot.
As for the Academy, I figured they would be best in magic since they are mostly wizards but you have a point it would be unfair to be superior in every magic. I've seen first hand what magic can do in this game to a massive army and it is incredible. I guess the only other option would be to let the player pick at least one school of magic to specialize in.
