Am I just misinterpreting what he said or are we actually getting A.I. in the map editor?
Woah.. that is gonna be awesome if he is saying what I think he is saying. Making you own single player missions would be pretty sweet.
I was kind of hoping for something like this. The editor in Infamous 2 was very cool and had some real depth.. I can only imagine the possibiites with this kind of editor in FarCry3.

Those answers were done months ago so things have changed in some areas possibly, I don't think it will be bots like in Unreal where they will fight against you with guns and chase you all over the level (but I am guessing here)
I am thinking along the lines of 3 things, either animals that patrol a set area and anything that alerts them will have them attack - or maybe bots that do the same (only patrolling their specific area they are allocated)
Or maybe we have something new that allows us to make up mini levels like a very small section of a single player mission, the idea would be to get from A to B while crossing though areas controlled by A.I. characters / animals maybe. Would this be single or coop - again I am guessing.
What other things could it be ?
All we can do here is guess and speculate until we get the correct info - but it is better having A.I. then not having it (no matter what form we get it in)
I watched the video, and what he says pretty much comfirms A.I. in the editor. More than likely, they will use their preset systems of behavior from the campaign, and we can set an area for them to stay in, or perhaps for the more advanced users, draw A.I. paths. Hoping to see more about this. I'm honestly more interested in the editor than the campaign.
