TBH I'm new to understanding the components and specifications and generally everything about computers. (As in knowing how to build one, my description makes me sound like I can't use one)
So I know a bit more now, after things have been reccommened and I've been doing research etc (I'm building a PC)
Although I can't really compare these specs to my list here:
CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K
RAM: Corsair 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance Memory
MOBO: Gigabyte Z68 (There are five different versions though I don't know which to get)
PSU: OCZ ZT 750W 80+ Bronze Modular Power Supply
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX560 (I know it isn't the best card but for me this is fine to start with and I think I saw it can run BF3 on Ultra at 60 FPS. I will upgrade later)
I'm also getting a Hyper 212 EVO fan which is 1) only £25. and 2) reduces temperatures by approximately 15 degrees celcius
I think the operating system will be Windows 7 BTW.
So will this run FC3 and if so, how well?
Thanks![]()
Got the following here:
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8 Ghz (3MB L2 cache)
RAM : 1xKingston 2GB DDR2 800 Mhz + 1xKingston 1GB DDR2 800 Mhz (Total: 3GB)
GPU/Video Memory : GeForce GTX550 Ti 1GB DDR5
Motherboard : Gigabyte EP31-DS3L
PSU : Coolermaster 550W
Had to ask again if I'm going to be able to play, since in my first time asking I was pretty much ignored. So... will I be able to play Far Cry 3 with this system?
I don't know much but you don't have enough RAM and preferably you want a better cooler. The graphics card should be OK, I think the 550 Ti is better than the 560.Originally Posted by AdrielBruno Go to original post
No idea about the processor.
RAM is cheap though and the RAM I have only costs around £30 (about $50?) I was reccommended DDR3 at 1600MHz and you need at least 4GB.
Problem is... I live in Brazil. Everything here is absurdly overpriced. This PC wasn't bought with this setup from start. Until now, the expenses to get to this point are aproximately R$ 3200,00 (something like U$ 1600.00). I'm not able to upgrade any further, probably. So I need an accurate answer about that. Thanks for your support, though, I appreciate it.Originally Posted by carfrytree Go to original post![]()
