Yooperbacker: Straight into a blank screen. tried before and after update patch. silent hunter wolves of the pacific.
nvrsummer2: Recently updated the Video card via Nividia.

Just a guess here but you may have a bad Dvd. Is there another computer you could try installing the game on and see if it works there?

Strange, in all past cases with this issue it's been the movie intro problem as Yooper suggest.

Hi guys.
Have practically given up on ever playing this game. You lads have done your best to help, for which I am truly grateful. Ubisoft are a completely a waste of space and time to me , as i have asked them also for assistance to no end. The party that sold the disc states that disc must be 
ok as it has loaded the game, irrespective as to the fact that it will not run. Therefore, between Ubisoft & the supplier of the disc, it is the old,old story. had your money, now P--- O--.
Will never buy Ubisoft games from now on. Thanks for your help,guys.

Did you ever try installing the game on a different computer?
I asked this before and your answer was - Yes. Completely up to date - I have no idea what that means.
So I will ask again, did you try installing this game on a different computer?
When you took out the intro video and tried running the game again you said it just went blank. What do you mean. Does the game run at all? Can you hear it trying to load? When you took out the video did you move it or delete it?
