    Save game issues

    People are having issues with the Cloud not saving or saves going missing. If this is happening to you please do the following;

    1. Launch the Uplay PC client (Start -> Programs -> Ubisoft -> Uplay)

    2. Click the settings button in the top right corner

    3. Uncheck Enable Cloud Save Synchronization for supported games.

    An interesting question... I can't say to know for SURE, since I haven't experimented, but from what I can tell: The files are in your 'Documents' folder, under 'Might & Magic Heroes VI' and your profile-name. In other words, C:\Users\(name of your user account)\Documents\Might & Magic Heroes VI\(name of your profile). The three files there should contain all your user-data, saves included.

    Probably. 's what I would try if I needed to move my game to another PC, anyway.

    seriously irritated

    im just getting pissed off at this point. For starters these patches keeps saying to manually update (which it really should be automatic like every other program made in the f**king 21st century) and does not even say how or where to do it! wtf is the deal with that bs, ive looked for hours. 2nd is that this fix is not helping with my saved games and I lost two days worth of stuff. The sync with uplay option was already enabled and the games are gone. Saving new games does not work either they disapear when I log on and back in. Im about to get a refund for this game I swear.

    Never again will i buy another one of your games, this is complete ********. Losing saved games every time I log in to see the last save is gone after putting hours into each map only to see this issue is apparently never going to be resolved. Congrats on stealing so many peoples money with such a ******** product.

    I did not have any game saving issues before (I was on 1.5) but now since the game updated itself to 1.7.1 patch - I've lost saves...

    Cannot play anymore... isn't that a nice result again...

    Unbelievable... I'm really starting to hate this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I too continually have lost saved games. I have a laptop and desktop that I like to play this game on depending on the situation. I like to take the laptop to friends houses and play hotseat and the desktop for campaigns. I have lost hours upon hours of saved games since they 1.5 upgrade. I hate the fact that now the saved games show up but when I try to open them it crashes out of the game to the desktop. I bought the pirates DC thinking it may fix the problem as well as give me a new campaign to play. All it did was piss me off even more because I have had to restart the second map 5 times now do to lost saved games!!!!! There is never any new posts from developers trying to solve these problems and today another DC content is suppose to be avialilbe which was pre-ordered with nothing from them on why it hasn't been opened yet????? Why do I keep wasting my time and money on this rubish!@!@!@!@!@!@!@!@!@!@@!@@!@!@!@!

    Odd, the V1.7 patch fixed my lost saved games issues, but now I get the black screen on a regular basis.

    So...let me see if I got this right: You can't fix the actual problem, so the solution is to turn the broken feature OFF!? Seriously? I turned the cloud save crap off a long time ago. Unfortunately I stupidly answered "yes" to the latest patch update and....guess what? Now I can't load my (non cloud) latest save game. Now I get to uninstall the game, apply a dozen patches, stopping short of 1.7 so I can actually resume my progress. Ridiculous.

    How do we get the save games back? I was half way through the haven campaign and now I only have saves from the tutorial?
