Just purchased silent service 5. Was very happy with progression of 1 to 4 with a few reservations. However consider 5 totally unplayable and not worth the effort. Its too complicated , why change a tried and tested formula for something totally frustrating. Shall not be buying any more from ubisoft

Hi Trench i felt like that when i first got it. in fact i believe i played for an hour then said sod it.......

and left it on the shelf for over a year, But once u get round the aiming/racing around the sub or trying to get up the

ladders bit, which admittedly does take a bit of getting used to, it really is a good game, that said I do only play

Multiplayer nowadays... I did 2 campaigns but got jaded pretty quick there.

I dont know if u are into 'Modding', but there are some pretty gifted guys modding sh5.....if u wish u can include me

in your contacts list and if u see me online when u want to play, just give me a quick chat and we can organise a game.

I appreciate you wont have had much experience, but dont worry about that. all the best for now

I've had it for nearly a year. Not much of a fan of it. I'll stick with my GWX Silent Hunter 3 and U-boat missions for Silent Hunter 4.

but now to the real deal its silent hunter 5



without mods the game is crap
