    PC Audio Interfaces Supported?

    Hello there!

I've got a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 audio interface hooked up on my PC. Ofcourse I'd like to use that over the usb interface that's shipped with RS.
Can anyone confirm any ASIO interfaces are supported?

EDIT: FOR EVERYONE THAT CAME TO THIS THREAD TO JUST FIND AN ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION: ONLY THE REALTONE CABLE IS SUPPORTED. IT ACTS LIKE A D0NGLE.

Are you 100% sure you're talking about the PC version? I read somewhere ASIO was supported which would mean that any soundcard/audio interface would do.
I understand that this won't work for a console.

ASIO interface might work with the realtone cable outside of the game, but I haven't read anything to suggest that the game supports anything other than the game's own cable.

Ehm.. The realtone cable IS an (asio) audio interface..?
That's the whole point, I don't want to use a "crappy" 20 dollar audio interface (Jack>USB) while I have a $400,- (asio) interface myself.

With that being said and knowing that Rocksmith looks for the Real Tone Cable's sound card odds are that other devices simply will not work. I have a few theories as to how this is a legitimate concern from a quality side, but I'm not sure if my theory is correct.

Also, yes the Rocksmith Cable is an ASIO compatible cable.

Yep, I play my guitar with guitar rig and amplitube using ASIO drivers and the real tone cable and it sounds great. 33 ms latency. Cannot be noticed.

Are you using ASIO4ALL? When I tried this, the quality was pretty bad.

Alright thanks. I'm just going to take from this that nobody really knows since the PC has yet to come out

Yes I am using Asio4All. Increasing buffers and messing with the resample from 44.1k to 48k fixed all my problems. I can post my setting tonight when I have access to my laptop again.
