Last night I was just about done with Venice and decided to call it a night. Today, I decided I'd play some more but to my horror I was without my Altair armor, standing at the docks of Venice without any viewpoints - because I had just ARRIVED in Venice! Needless to say, losing that many hours of progress has me pretty peeved. I decided to reboot/restart steam and uplay then decided I had a more recent file; an hour or two ahead of this new file in Venice, but at least it's something. It's pretty **** unfortunate this cloud system isn't particularly reliable.

the same problem is here. 2 days ago i was in seq. 13 and i quit then yesterday i was log in but in seq. 8. then i quit and again i was log in after 5 min., so my game was seq.13. after that today, when i was log in again i am in seq.8. Are you kidding me UBI. i have an exam, and i just want to finish AC II but i cant.

Having the same problem as well... happened twice, roll back to the docks to meet Leonardo or just arrived at Venice. Hours of playtime gone, and it's getting frustrating.

Bump for answer. Can SOMEONE from Ubisoft PLEASE give us a concrete answer as to how to prevent this 3 YEAR problem?

Same thing here, all because of your cloud save and your new uplay launcher, I never had these problems three years ago when i played it! Can anything be done to make sure this thing never happens again ?

I contacted technical support twice since Monday, but it seems that they are ignoring the issue. No reply yet.
