Hex code similar to "three lives toiled" found

Remember last E3, for Revelations, some hex code was used in some trailers? It translated to "Three lives toiled. Three lives lost. Three messages delivered: the greeting, the warning, the revelation."
They also put this hexidecimal code on the spine of the white and black encyclopedias.

At E3 this year, a promotional version of the encyclopedia was given to press, which was identical other than a different cover and a few bonus ACIII pages at the beginning. I managed to get a copy, and noticed the hex code on the spine was entirely different to the previous editions.

    We saw the Nephilim there

We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes

And we looked the same to them

It would make sense for them to change a very Revelations oriented quote to something else for an ACIII edition of the encyclopedia, but it's also very curious. This is a quote from the bible, and the Nephilim were seen as the children of god. Some obvious connotations to TWCB there.

This isn't the most startling reveal of information but I just thought it was very interesting and worth sharing!

Aren't the Nephilim supposed to be hybrids between angels and humans?

Interesting find. This is just coming from searching on wikipedia but it says there is an interpretation that the Nephilim are descendants of Seth, the brother of Cain and Abel, and that they rebelled against God and "mingled" (if you know what I mean) with the daughters of Cain. Don't really know what to make of that but it's interesting given the links between Cain and the Templars.

    At 4:50.

What if Minerva doesn't talk about humans and/or TWCB here? What if she talks about a different species?
That would be a nice twist.

I don't think so. What would another species have to do with the war?

great find and finally an interesting topic worth discussing on the forums!

    http://www.gotquestions.org/Nephilim.html or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anakites

for everyone who doesn't know what a nephilim is (i didn't even know)

from wikipedia: The Nephilim ( /ˈnɛfɨˌlɪm/) were the offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men" according to Genesis 6:4; and gigantic men who inhabited Canaan according to Numbers 13:33. A similar biblical Hebrew word with different vowel-sounds is used in Ezekiel 32:27 to refer to dead Philistine warriors.

from gotquestions.org: The Nephilim (“fallen ones, giants”) were the offspring of sexual relationships between the sons of God and daughters of men in Genesis 6:1-4 . There is much debate as to the identity of the “sons of God.” It is our contention that the “sons of God” were fallen angels (demons) who mated with human females and/or possessed human males and then mated with human females. These unions resulted in offspring, the Nephilim, that were “heroes of old, men of renown” (Genesis 6:4

here is some different interpretations of the verse http://bible.cc/numbers/13-33.htm

Yeah pretty much. Seems like in the context of AC they're most likely referring to TWCB/human hybrids.

It should also be worth noting that supposedly god created the flood to get rid of the Nephilim.
