I'de suggest waiting for the title update first. Especially if you're a PS3 player, but the game is fun. There might be a slight learning curve. Replay value for the Campaign is low. Not much reason to go back unless you want to unlock all the weapons which seems pointless, unless you're whoring achieves. I don't think many people play, which isn't necessarily a bad thing because most of the CoD dummies are gone by this point.

    XBOX has about 15,000 - 20,000 players on at a time and for PS3 about 5,000 - 9,000.

It is a good game, the Multiplayer is great although has semi-regular connectivity issues and the host migration system could use some work.

Of the campaign that I have played, it is put together nicely it provides a sense of realism and tactics that is missing in most shooters right now.

Guns are interesting although I feel the better gun choices are slightly on the Ghosts side, you won't find a game with better gun customization on the market.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by replay ability? To play the campaign over again?

Gameplay is great. Your character tends to react very well and move to and fro smoothly, though sometimes cover and the cover system can lead you astray, however not bad.
Guns are good. (Amazing depending on how much of a junky you are for fiddling with weapon options.)
Campaign is good, or well decent depending on your POV, but a nice romp with friends or by yourself. (Has irritants though.) Replay isn't that high due to unskippable scripted moments that tend to great after the third time or so.
I wouldn't say the multiplayer community is the highest, but it's healthy enough to find matches consistently.

I enjoyed the campaign a lot, it was very well put together. Although kinda easy, the challenges for each mission definitely make things a lot more fun and interesting. Some of them bring the difficulty up a bit. I say the replayabilty is quite good in my opinion, especially for example if you play it through once on veteren, then do it again on elite, go back and re-do and complete all the challenges, and then decide to play the entire game over in co-op which is a whole another experience. While not exactly open world, its still open enough to make your decision on where and how you want to do things on some levels

The gunsmith is awesome and loads of fun. You can really make any game your own in both versus AND campaign, allowing you to tackle that mode in any way you want. I think the gunplay itself is very good and everything feels very realistic.

The versus to me is a blast to play when there are no issues (like strong lag). There are only 4 match types but I can't believe I have played about 55 hours and have yet to be bored with any of them. I think the maps are great (minus one - pipeline can be a ***** sometimes for a few reasons). I never once had a problem finding a match, either. Although only 3 classes, each really has character and feels very different than the others. The game rewards teamwork which compared to other games is such a treat.

I don't care to play Guerilla mode without matchmaking so I don't really play it. It's not too shabby if you have the friends to play with.

I could go on really, but I definitely feel it's a solid game. It's one of those great starting base games where I bet once they make the sequel, it will be vastly improved and 10x better.

The campaign wasn't exactly great, and was surprisingly linear after what I saw of GRAW2. Constant auto-aiming certainly detracts from the experience as well, which is a shame because the opening two levels were looking spectacular.

Guerrilla was enjoyable enough, bog standard Horde mode, nothing remarkable to note here. Lack of weapon choices goes against it.

The Multiplayer is flawed but engaging.

Generally the game has suffered from a rather disastrous launch beset with bugs and issues from all sides, but they are slowly working towards resolving most of these. Either take the plunge and see for yourself, or wait for the end of July when everyone has a better idea of what we can expect long-term. If you can overlook it's flaws the game is quite good though.

    I love the game.

Loved the campaign, especially when playing with other people. Stealth Segments are like puzzles trying to see who you take out first so not to raise an alarm. I played it several times, and will do so again - although it is true that there are unskipable cut-scenes during the missions that get annoying real quick - but you can talk about sports during those. Replayability I would set as high - with friends. The game actually changes when playing as different characters (Solo or Host you will play Kozac, second player will play Ghost Lead and so on...). This changes some of the gameplay elements (only Kozac can use the UAV), and significantly alters some on-rail sequences. It's a lot of fun to change things up. The Story, btw, is not too bad, but not really Clancy book quality, either (unless we talk about the last one, which was terrible).

MP has its issues, but apart from people having lag, I think it's a taste thing. Check some gameplay vids.

Guerrilla (Horde) is not the usual Horde. You have to first infiltrate a certain area and secure it, then hold it and defend it against an ever increasing number of enemies. It gets quite hard on higher levels, but it's a lot of fun with people you know - you just have to communicate and play together

Oh, and there is NO MATCHMAKING for Co-Op Campaign or Guerrilla (which I think is good), but many people were complaining about this.

If you buy it 2nd Hand, you CANNOT play Co-Op Campaign or Guerrilla with others, or progress in MP over level 5. Not unless you pay 800 MSP /10 $ for an Online Pass.

For me, just the Campaign was worth the buy, I really enjoy the MP and Guerrilla both, so I can only recommend it. Note, though, that this IS NOT GRAW 3. It's different from GRAW like Splinter Cell Conviction was different from Double Agent.

At this point I will say no if you don't like being spawned camped and outmatched by gadgets. If you enjoy rising above **** then by all means get the game along with a box of kleanex for tears.

In comparison to other similar games in the industry, the campaign is decent. It has some really intense and memorable moments, whereas I believe games like Battlefield and Call of Duty don't really have that. The campaign also has some replay value for achievements too.

As for multi-player, it has some issues, but overall its a decent experience. As others have already said, you may want to wait for the title update which is coming soon. In addition to the DLC, which should extend the life-time of the game considerably. If possible, try the game out before purchasing.
