I think you might be wrong, seems that microsoft would need more than one server to roll out updates, I know this is a fact for some PC games, so it would make sense if it was so for MS/Xbox as well, I'm not sure though, just guessing. ..

If you are running version 1.2.3 and I am running version 2.3.4 then we cannot be in the same lobby. An example of that is "unable to join friend...the host has dlc you do not." The problem there is that it did not load correctly...the data did not correctly integrate...meaning you are on one version...and your pal...another...and the game tells you NO.

What your saying makes sense, and I know that this is the usual process hardcoded into the game, but what if for some reason it's not now?
I do believe PanchoTheDog when he says that he have another version installed and that he actually have been gaming with that version, I don't know what might have happened, maybe those who he played had the same version ... Ether way, I feel confident he's not a liar. ...

i agree with this totally. it shouldnt allow you to connect to others without the same software. i am by no means saying the OP is lying or anything of the sort. can anyone confirm what version they are running currently? he says his is 1.4.3.....any chance thats what everyone is currently running? plus, you said the update you loaded was 3 MB. Seems to me this patch should be much larger than that....whouldnt it?

My version is 1.2.3 still. 3 MB sounds normal for the size. The content is fixes/changes, not new guns or maps or anything.

Not possible...you couldn't have users playing at the same time in the same lobbies on different versions.

It is possible . When epic rolls out a tu it is sometimes by region. There have been plenty of times where someone didnt get the update. most times in the u.s. The eastcoast gets it first and anywhere from a cpl mins to hour it rolls to the westcoast

well im on the east coast and i just checked and nothing. we prob wont get it till tomorrow

It depends entirely upon what files were changed, and the way the game is structured.

No update in the UK, and with no announcements/patch notes, I think you've somehow stumbled upon something you probably shouldn't have. Seems rather peculiar all around.

Sounds like lies to me. If they did it regionally it wouldnt be days to do it for such a small game. It would be like hours. If it were true and they started in Europe yesterday. Everyone would have it by now.

And Why 360 first? Doesnt Sony have a much quicker approval time then MS? Technically it should come on PS3 first.

And if this is true I am sure there has to be SOME other German to check?
