I tried yesterday morning but still couldn't move and my mouse/keyboard were still fubard, was wondering if anyone found a fix yet or if Ubi actually fixed it themselves?

I found that I had to unplug my joystick, then my mouse worked in game.

With the joystick plugged in I was getting suggestions to use A' or 'B' buttons in the menus for moving back & forth, which was a bit of a hint that the game thought I was using a gamepad, but with the joystick unplugged the 'A' and 'B' controller icons went away and mouse control returned.

Ubi staff says that if You have a keyboard and / or mouse with a dedicated driver to it, try uninstalling the driver and play with the plain mouse.

As I recall they said something like this.

(If You try it and it won't work, just reinstall the driver)
