    304 beta

    I had the same issue as thread starter and I always got futher into the game but I couldnt pass the first map.

    Though I installed the 304 beta nvidia driver (which came 18th of june) and it lets me play futher. Though I still get crashes and the crashes seems to be even worse. What I meen is that the computer freezes. (Happend once on the 3rd map) I dont dare nor bother to play the campaign due the damage it can do.

    Though the Guerilla mode seemed to work as it should. Played pretty long.

    I havnt tried out mutliplayer after installing 304 but Ill do that now. But one thing is sure, if I get one more of these crashes, Ill wait for a new driver + patch.

    Edit: Just tried multiplayer, it seems to work fine but I get disconnected from every server. Guess thats another problem. However ill probally wait a week or two for a better gaming experience.

    I had the same problem. I couldn't pass the refugee camp intro on the second level with my 580 gtx. I always had a crash to desktop with a system event exposing a problem with the nvidia driver.

    I read on other forums that playing with the clock speed of your card could solve the problem. I do not encourage you to do so, but if you are familiar with this you could try it like it was suggested earlier in that post.

    For my part, I updated my video card Bios (gigabyte), and the problem was solved.

    Now, are you going to help since i bought this stupid game from you, or am i gonna ask for help in another way?

    Just chipping in to say that I am encountering the same issue - the game crashes during the fist cut scene.
    When I'm playing on a lower resolution than 1920x1080 the cut scene goes on a little longer, but it still freezes and I get the display driver error.

    Using the 301.42 drivers the game does not crash at all but only runs with 10 FPS max. - which makes it pretty much unplayable.
    I also tried the latest beta drivers (since 580 cards seem to have problems with the 301.42 drivers) and now I'm getting a blue screen instead of the regular crash.

    Opened a support ticket like the Community Manager suggested, although I am not really sure how much good it will do. If the developers are aware of the issue, doesn't that mean it is something they (or NVidia) need to fix?

    Probally yes but the question is how long we have to wait. I think that even more then 35 % of the customers that have bought the game have nvidia cards and 50 % of them have this issue so hopefully they'll fix it rapidly.

    As already explained in other threads Technical Support will not give support on pirated copies, which is what your one is. You openly posted that it was and as you are not from US your IP address also tells support this.

    Thank you, even though a lot of people are having this issue the more information technical support can receive the better as then they can investigate it better. Also they can get a good idea how many people this is affecting. When opening a ticket please ensure you put as much information as possible.

    Hi. Can you upload your proof of purchase please?
    Ubisoft/the uk forum manager/ your retailer has a ***** serious problem if you can prove that you are not playing a pirated game.

    If you are playing a pirated game, you should just put your head in the sand and don't ask for help with this.

    Fatal error

    i just bought this game and i was so excited to play this game, but then after installing and updates i get this freaking Fatal Error and the screen hangs on black.

    I have Nvidia GTX460 and i5 cpu

    Is there any fix for this problem?

    I a normal world, Ubisoft have to prove that is copy is illegal. Not him to prove that is copy of the game is legal.

    I live in Quebec and I make a official complaint with the consumer protection office. I have to prove what is happening actually with the game and with the poor consumer service that we have with Ubisoft. And they assure me, that release a defective product is illegal here. So I'll see what happen we that.

    Im done here. People here is ****ing ******ed.
    I never said anywhere my copy is pirate, and people doesnt seem to understand that you CAN BUY stuff from US even if you dont live there.
    This was the most unprofessional support i ever seen, even WoT is better!
    And the fact i have to prove i bought it... Is just most ******ed i ever heard
