    i got driver crashes when i tried to run the game on my max gpu overclock with the GTX 670 it would go freeze, go blank and then say "device removed: device hung due to badly formed commands".

    i have downclocked the overclock and so far no issues but i am not keeping my hopes high that it'll remain stable on a milder overclock.

    Ghost Recon Future Soldier NVIDIA crashing/freezing fix for 500 series cards
    ================================================== ============
    For everyone experiencing freezes/crashes during gameplay with the game either crashing to Desktop with the following error messages: "Device is removed: Device hung due to badly formed commands." OR "nvidia driver stopped responding and has recovered" OR the screen staying black frozen...

    After a lot of trial and error and endless crashes/freezes the following thing securely eliminated this issue for my system:

    I used a programm called "Nvidia Inspector" and underclocked my Gigabyte Nvidia 580GTX card from the default values "GPU = 795 MHz, MEMORY = 2004 MHz, Shader 1590 MHz"
    to "GPU = 700 MHz, MEMORY = 1800 MHz, Shader 1400 MHz"

    Ghost Recon Future Soldier so far is the only game (with far over 400 games installed on my system) to act this way and I hope the devs will quickly address this issue in their next patch as I cannot say whether those crashes actually can harm the hardware or not.

    Please spread this fix here around the forums in case it fixes the issue for you...

    System: Win7 x64 Ultimate, Core I-7 920, 12 GB RAM, Geforce 580GTX

    I ave almost the same configuration than you, exept the graphic card: GTX 570. I've try your idea but didn't fix the problem for me. I can't pass the intro.

    Same Issue here. I have a GeForce 295, and I have the same issue. Game will CTD, and then mouse will lock in one area of my screen.
    The only way out of this crask is to run task amanger, and stop the game processes.

    Support gives the usual copy and paste responses that every single game manufacturer provides. First you pin the blame on my computer and drivers being out of date (which they werent) then when i reply to say that everything on my computer is working as it should i get the response that tech support will pass the info on. Yet no help or answer on how i can play this game.

    So tell me, how is support there to help?
