Can someone do me a favour

I seem to have been banned from posting on the 1C forum for 'unacceptable behaviour'. Unlike the previous incident, where the ban was undoubtedly justified (lost my rag), I genuinely have no idea what the ban is for. Could someone PM the moderators there, and ask them to PM me here with an indication of what the problem was.

Note - this is not intended as criticism of the 1C moderators, and nor am I asking for comments here. All I want is an indication as to what it was I did wrong, so I can avoid doing it again.

Just taking a break from my busy wife beating schedule here Andy to let you know that you appear to have fallen victim to the Banana forum "toting up of infractions" system.
Could it be time for the Chris Huhne defence? Perhaps not.

Ah, whatever - I should probably stay away from the 1C forums anyway...

We have that forum function here too.....I've not seen it actually bounce someone off the forum for a temp suspension yet, but it's possible.

Hum. So I was banned for my misbehaviour (which I don't dispute merited a ban), and after the ban ended I was banned again for getting banned for misbehaviour? Curious, if a little Kafkaesque. Another good reason to avoid the 1C forums I suppose.

Nah, the infraction system works by moderators clicking a button on posts that are committing some breach of the rules and selecting a type of offence from a list. Each offence carries some level of penalty points that expire after a while. If you accumulate more points than some threshold level you get an automatic suspension until some of the points expire and you drop back below the threshold. I've no idea what the threshold levels or points expiry periods are over there so can't comment on the likely period of the suspension.

No you didn't raaaid so stop fibbing.
Andy, Tully explains it pretty well, points add up, and take a while to expire. Some points might never expire. Once you hit a certain level it triggers an auto ban. Its just the system on the forums there.
