Not a very big deal if you ask me. I suggest you get over this "foot fetish" of yours, as not every FPS will let you see your own feet.

When you walk on a sheer edge the view shifts down to see your feet sidestepping along... you can see this in the burning building gameplay

Most of the people in this world are now getting so large that they will never see their own feet - as Jason Brody doesn't seem to have a beer gut yet and doesn't carry that middle aged spread we might get to see his feet for those into the foot fetish thing as mentioned above.

haha nah i just find it weird when a dev creates a huge immersive world that draws you in and makes you fell that you are a part of it, then you look down and you have an invisible mid section :P
