well in your world maybe there isn't much drugs use, but the one i know, people use drugs, booze , and hallucinate already when they are 16 years old. Which says enough. The doctor just could made it out of my country, just to do his own thing without being hassled the whole time. Also an island where there is only is madness, people would use drugs faster. Arent people in aghanistan not always chewing, and in countries in south america just becouse they have a tiresome live? There are drugs which will let you go much further than you excatly would think.
About dark magic or something like that, it is something you just have to believe in. It would be nice if you could made a choice in that to.
Btw Sex sells, who doesn't like boobies? I agree that it must fit in the game , but i don't think you will or can srew around a lot. Its not that sort of game. But it adds more dimension to it. Becouse in far cry 2. You where just lonely and could not have a relation ship. I hope you also can make choices like that.
That said, it is after al our own opinion, and the developers have theirs also. So this is not to thumb you down or something, i don't hope you are eigth years old, otherwise i would advise just to wait 10 years, but i assume you already play far cry for eight years![]()
Yeah, that was pretty much what I was thinking.Originally Posted by TheRealDrewdelz Go to original post
When I originally started this thread, my intention was not to solicit negative comments from fellow Forum members ( although one must expect some ) but rather to voice my own personal opinion on what my impressions were, of what was shown by Ubisoft at E3. I also said in my post that I did not intend to get into a pissing match with anyone responding to my thread, who might have a different opinion then my own, but since a few of you don't seem to have the slightest idea of what my original motives were, I feel obliged to ad the following.
There seem to be a few responders ( you know who you are ) that sound to me as if they are just reaching puberty, and only added to this thread, in order to see their name in print. To those of you I feel obliged to ad these few lines, in order to make my intentions a little clearer.
I will be playing the game, however I don't have to wait until I experience it, in order to voice my objections, concerning some aspects of the game play that were shown to us.
To those of you who might be worried about my age ( are you 8 years old ) I would like to recommend that in the future, before commenting, that they take the time to look into the players " Profile ". Then they might be surprised to find out, that I was already playing video games, when they were still pulling on their mommies titties.
Mam, when I finished typing, I mistakenly hit Post, rather then Preview, shït happens.
" This is a video game " yes, well I kind'a understood that from the very beginning, since in case you missed it, THE ONLY THING THAT IS ALLOWED IN THE GAME is going around and shooting people. What did you think I will be playing FCSake " Settlers "..
Doing drugs, well like most youngsters, I could count on the fingers of one hand, those who have not given it a try early on in life, so I won't pretend that it never happen to me, but I don't necessarily need to have that, as part of my video game in order to succeed. You might be interested to know that when I was younger I had the largest and most beautiful garden around, so please cut the " bovine droppings " before you end up looking like what you sound like.
As far as creating games, well today I gott'a tell you that looking at some of those who play the games, I believe would be a major waste of time, on my part.
With the Netherlands having the LARGEST concentration of drug users, and sex, being an open book across the nation, I am not surprised to see 16 year old pot heads, thinking that, all this is completely normal situation. By the way in case you haven't noticed, the rest of the World, has not followed the Netherlands example. Some day you will understand that there ARE a lot of more important things in life other then abusing various substances. When I hear comments like yours, it reminds me of the drunk who swears that if he gets just one more drink, it will be his last. Yea go figure,,,,,,,
And in closing " #14 " don't you think that by now, you should be old enough to think for your self. If that is not the case, you might want to think about it a little, before attempting a 10th Post.
Anyone wishing to continue this discussion, please get off the Forum, and PM me.
Man, don't be so upset. We all have our opinions and you can have one too. If you are concerned about the things in game where you rather see something else, we don't thumb you down for that.
About talking the netherlands i didn't say its a good thing that people do use drugs more often at young age and maybe little more than in other countries, but hey its reality. And if it should be in the game? everyone has an opinion about it.
Making your angry about some jokesfrom the thing you posted(which maybe should be wrong ) seems to me a little childish. We all can reply on an opinion, but keep respect for each other![]()
I understand the sentiment from where you're coming from. I've been waiting years for this game to come out, and still I'm looking forward to playing it, BUT, I feel the developers (since FC2 - which was a non gimmicky intelligent game) have made aspects of FC3 very gimmicky to attract a certain type of player. My concern is the gratuitous usage of the "F" word that we've seen in trailers - a few are fine, but many cheapen the experience. The multiple of modern armaments, vehicles etc. on an island far removed from normal society is becoming unbelievable, along with many fantasy aspects, seem to become just another game - unlike the reality we saw in FC2. Yes, I can see they're trying to lure back those FCIP players and others who didn't understand FC2, but how it will play out will only be decided once we play the game. The character Jason Brody is too young (if he's 22 - 24) I believe, and if he evolves into an experienced killer overnight is also unbelievable and yes, gimmicky. The arcade aspects bother me to H3ll - something I mentioned last June when FC3 was revealed, and it looks like they've kept those features. Okay - time will tell, and I will buy it, but if it turns out to be dumbed down, and just "another fantasy game" I'll be thinking twice before FC4 - that is, if they even have another.Originally Posted by step-in-Wolf Go to original post

I don't drink, smoke, or use any drugs and never have. But I'm mature enough to be able to handle being around people that do or seeing it in a video game...Originally Posted by step-in-Wolf Go to original post
Like I said, given the comparison, wouldn't you rather someone smoke weed in real life that shoot hundreds of people?(like FC3?) Your issue with the game's drug contents make no sense at all, and still don't even with your attempt at explaining things.
Time will tell, but i agree with you the most. Lets hope its not to mainstream and to much fantasy becouse it will spoil it indeed for me also, But i though i heard you don't really need to meet the doctor to get hallucinations. To much fantasy like black magic and playing a story which is a dream could give me disregards towards the game. Far cry 2 was a good game and realistic i liked that part the most. Multiplayer will be most mainstream, that i am worried about. That all kids from *** are coming too far cry 3. I hope you still can play on skill. But based on what i heard you get most points for teamwork and no lonewolfing. Which i love.Originally Posted by Martythemerc Go to original post
I Loved far cry 2 , didn't like the mutant part of far cry 1 (except predator mode on multi), but i think i will love far cry 3 anyway at what i heard and saw. And lets hope you can progress at another way through the story as which they were telling.
Still looking forward to more information and the game ofcourse![]()
I don't think he has "issues." You make it seem like he's a prude or something. He just doesn't think it belongs in the game, or in a game like Far Cry 3. You act like he's okay with the shooting in real life but not drugs. Stop misrepresenting the guy.Originally Posted by TheRealDrewdelz Go to original post
