You could actualy take out a destroyer with a be be gun.

Only thing is though is that it would take many many many many many many many many many many generations of passsing the be be gun from father to sun.

I would guess it would take like 200 thousand yeasrs.

This was, and is possible in FB.

When IL-2 first came out, it was easy. You could kill boats with relatively few shots of 47mm or even 30mm shots. Tanks too.

Now it is harder, but still possible. For example, it takes only a half dozen rounds of 37mm to sink a MFP or Torpedo boat.

Armor piercing shells are more effective. Explosive shells, not effective.

So no, you will not be sinking destroyers with MK108 shells, because that would be gay. But here's hoping that BoB models damage model for ships (ammo explosions, etc).

Just Completed the Book on Lipfurts war Diaries he mentions Sinking 2 Russian Torpedo Boats.

I think he had 2 20mm Condolas on his BF109 While his Wingnman had a Stock Machine with 20mm Cannon.

They took about 2 Passes each to Sink the Boat.
and thats FAR Smaller than a Ship

Funny to see this topic again.

I remember you'd see it a lot on the CFS2 forums. One pass on a ship in MSFT CFS2 with 6 blazing .50 cal would net you a ship.

I'm glad to hear it can be done now at least. I remember I poured all of my P-47 ammunition into a russian BBk and it didn't sink, even after I fired my rockets into it. Thanks for the help!

Your 50 cals wouldn't do anything to any boat in FB, but the bazooka rockets will sink 'em if they hit.
