Some rare Double Agent concept arts posted recently by SnooHamsters493 on the Splinter Cell subreddit
By the way I encourage you to read the whole thread, you'll also find some cool texts and dialogues from cut content for Double Agent next-gen version.

Wow, that's a good find! Seeing more of the behind-the-scenes stuff is interesting, though the push for drama is kind of sad. If the story required Sam to do things that resulted in innocents being hurt...write a different story.

The cut content for the last mission seemed quite interesting and a way better end than the actual one we had. But I guess the drama parts were inevitable with that story, they didn't do it in a bad way but it sure wasn't what most of fans were expecting for a SC game

I know, but I just want Sam to be a good guy.

I'm sure devs would have added a way to save innocents just like we could save the ones in the Cozumel cruise ship.
The actual game already allows us to not harm any innocent so they would have done the same with that last mission.

Oh, for the game part, yeah. But that newspaper clipping... Saying Sam's actions "resulted in the deaths of several innocent victims, and two law enforcement agents". That would be bad.

Wasn't the bank robbery a false robbery set up by Third Echelon ? So we can think they gave wrong information to the press to give Sam a good cover and make his criminal character believable.
There's no way I would see Sam and Lambert doing a real robbery and killing people so Sam can be send to prison.

PS: by the way here's another find by SnooHamsters493, the sniper attachment for the next-gen version of DA has been cut. He found it in the files of the game:

I don't remember what the exact story ended up being in the final version (versions?), but iirc he hadn't actually hurt anyone. The newspaper clipping stuff sounds different than what I remember, though we were still given the option to do less-than-honorable stuff in the game...
