When Dr. Seuss Went to War!!!

Little known side to our lovable seller of silly rhymes for kids. At one time he was a well known political cartoonist who did NOT pull punches. Some of these are pretty rugged and very reflective of the times. I never knew this about the man and most of his stuff hasn't been seen in half a century. Surprised McCarthy never went after him but he might have.

Interesting stuff, Worf. I can see why McCarthy would maybe have liked to target 'Dr. Seuss' (Theodor Seuss Geisel - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Seuss), but I suspect he might have been a difficult target, given his popularity, and the work he'd done during the war. See for instance the 'Private Snafu' instructional films (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_Snafu - links here: http://archive.org/search.php?query=...atype%3Amovies).
