as i live in germany, we have sometimes problems with the USK which can make developers say that they have to censore some things.
FC2 was uncut over here so my Question is, are there "tougher" scenes in FC3 then in FC2? cause then theres a possibility for a cut.
the MP has this new feature on the end of a round to kill an enemy or let him go. that could be a key thing for cut or uncut.
Well GoW3 was uncut here but the main reason for this was that the new enemies did not look that similar too humans.
the fact that GoW, and GoW2 were on the index over here did make this decison really curious.

so i hope that the USK/German Version will be uncut, cause i dont want to pre order in AT or UK for much more money because of shipping

The game is rated 18+ there won't be any censorship

u dont know how it works here. even 18+ titels get censored sometimes...
thats why buyed much titles from uk or austria in the past

our laws for that are just ridiclious

Sure it's ridiculous, i doubt they apply the same policy for adult movies.

I like a bit of violence in video games (okay... quite a lot in Far cry) but I'm always shocked to see some 11 years old kids buy God/gearsOW for their birthday. After we're suprised to see that they act not like they should... The whole publiity around video games is the true guilty thing. I see posters of Max payne 3 everywhere those days and young kids see it too. they think: "that's cool, let's try it". And then, the violence, even in videogames, become a common fact. No one cares anymore. That's a problem.

i dont knoe how it works in your country but in germany u have to confirm your age to buy a game. so im still annoyed of our policy that games with age restrict 18+ get cut.
i understand the thing in WW2 shooter with the nazi thing like the nazu symbols are forbidden over here. but that has nothing to do with the age

Germany is a great country but I dont want to live there because of ridiculous game laws.

Laws can be changed for one thing: MONEY.... thats the reason of Gears 3 being uncut (it is more realist and more gutty), and jewels like Fallout 3 were censored. In my opinion it goes like this:
11 year old boys SOULD NOT play Gears of War... i mean, whats your ****in problem dads? dont you see all the violence?... oh of course not, because there isnt sex so its safe, because the human body is something our child shouldnt see, it doesnt matter if they will watch ugly porn in internet anyway (thats something bad). Current rating for everything is just **** and shouldnt be observed by anyone, including dads worried about their sons.

well thats not sure for the german version. u have to keep in mind that they censored saints row that much that u can only play it with other germans and not international in the MP
if theres something which has influence on the gameplay this can happen to FC3 too.

but however, i want an uncut SP too.

If the USK puts limitations on a 18+ i think that's because some retailers are not careful on asking IDs.
If they really think that even a 18+ is not enough then propose an extra pegi rating like 21+

no, that has nothing to do with that. its because of things like persons running amok and stuff. our gouvernment push all the guilty of that to games like Counter Strike and stuff. thats why there are so much censored games. but they did not care that most of these kids whu run amok are under 18 and normally are not allowed to get the game...
