Would there be a mode with no radar or anything dumb that makes it easy for newbies to camp and wait til you pop up on radar and come and shoot you? I'm kind of sick of all these non-realistic games with radar this, radar that... I got that the game is meant to be team based. But you have all these people coming from all these games that are all about radar. Then they play the one man army status... Hopefully a mode where people actually have to call out things and communicate with one another instead of teammates standing around waiting for that radar pop up.
This is one of my many complaints, but if others have there opinion or hoping for a mode that's a lot more realistic feel. Just comment and give your ideas.
agreed...radar sucks..kill cam sucks hard... uav sucks... drones suck... sensors suck...prox cameras suck... frags suck.....
but what truly sucks is..... auto heal.....i dunno why this is in EVERY game...i hate it so much..if u get shot u should fall and die..or fall and bleed out then die....im sick of this my screen turns red, then i crouch for a second and im all back to normal.
GREAT POINT.... i would much rather prefer playing competitave multiplayer without all the Radar, UAVs, and enemies targeted on the map. More skill involved in the gameplay is what makes games great .ie(socom 1,2&3&CA)
I dont understand why people who dont have the beta are allowed to post in this section, but anyways, here is my feedback on playing the beta so far......
I love the overall gameplay and character movement, however if the strafe speed was increased just slightly i think it would make a huge positive effect on close gun fights, even like one or two notches faster.
Hit detection is just a bit suspect, hopefully its just the beta.
XP ranking system is TRASH..
A ratings based ranking system , where you dont achieve high rank my logged hours and leveling up is a hell of a lot more gratifying than XP...in other words your basically ranked on your skill and what you do on the battlefield, which is another factor that makes a GREAT multiplayer 3rd person shooter. To contain the rankups, just have no custom ranked rooms.
i definately support this idea,i played few matches and i got so upset from auto heal and low bullet damage that i came here to rant about it :P
gunplay as it is now makes good reflexes as important as good positioning and tactical thinking, when those factors should be way more important than reflexes, as it is ghost recon, not just generic triple a fps.
They should rethink that IMO. I like this game. Its good. But it would be GREAT without all these sensors and radar sceens. I dont want to know when Im spotted. I want to notice that as a 5.56 round turns my brains to pulp. Then I want to find the bastard who did it and return the favor BY MYSELF.
I simply cant understand why the devs cant include an option to turn all this high-tech-mumbo-jumbo off if we want to. Remember the OICW in the old GR games? It could be disabled and so could explosives IF WE WANTED TO! Heck, there was even an arcade mode with high paced action for those who wanted it.
So how come a game with the Ghost Recon brand wont let some of us play the way some of us want? Im not asking to change the game. I just want the option to play this new and very promising installment of Ghost Recon without this sensor overkill on private servers.
Sadly true. No matter how much we fought, no matter the evidence to the contrary, no matter...anything most of us older fans got the exact game we didn't want. Then again we aren't the target audience anymore. Ubisoft wants those $$$$ bottom line. GR no longer belongs to the original fanbase. It belongs to the new casual shooter fanbase; people that don't see anything wrong with having regenerating health, legalized wall hacks, Harry Potter cloaks, and whatever else gimmicks.Originally Posted by MeanMF Go to original post
